These stakes were purchased because the ones our tent came with were junk. We used these for a long time in the dirt and they removed fantastic, easy to clean, stored nice while packing and were very strong. The only problem I ran into was pulling them out of the ground in a gravel lot for tent camping. They drove in VERY well, no bends or breaks but after almost a week of camping we went to pick up and tried pulls by the cord to pull them out and the cord instantly broke. I hated to drive them into gravel but when it’s the only camp site you have you have to do what you need to do. Otherwise I would recommend these tent stakes to anyone looking to tent camp. These things were fantastic.

Ordered these for a 40 day camping trip, knowing I might need some extra stakes. They are very light weight and I felt it was a mistake. However, the first time I used them, I was impressed. They pounded in easily without the point flattening out. Hit dozens of rocks, but the stakes found their way around them and NEVER BENT! Easy to get out of rocky terrain with a little wiggle. The cords attached were strong and not a single break the entire trip. We set up and tore down camp 25 times. I will get many more years out of these sturdy, lightweight stakes.

They are lightweight aluminum stakes. Exactly what you’d expect. Haven’t tested durability other than staking tents in soft ground. Like any stakes better not to hammer into hard ground.

These hold quite well and drive without damage in Rocky soil.

My previous stakes got lost so I decided to give these a try for a recent camping trip in central NC. I was surprised at how lightweight they were, but they seem really strong. They were easy to set up and I removed them quickly using the hook on the end of my mallet to lift them by the loops. They held up to a good breeze, though I would be concerned with higher winds since there's no hook to keep the loops on the tent in place. I do think they'll hold up for a long time.

I was looking for something a little more lightweight & durable & I for sure found it.

They really prioritized the lightweight aspect of these, and when you understand that they make sense and they're awesome.However if you're just buying them for car camping, you should know that if a bare foot comes down on one of these stakes in the ground, it will HURT A LOT.Also over time they don't stand up super well to being hammered into very hard ground (again... car camping. kind of my bad). So in very packed tent sites I've bent a couple and the tops get sort of flattened and battered and develop little sharp unsightly edges. And when they hit stones underneath they get scraped up down there too which makes them a bit less smooth the next time you're driving them into the ground.Not the end of the world although it means after a few years they'll become backup stakes which I wasn't expecting.

Tent stakes. Far superior to what many tent makers provide with their tents. Sturdy and won't bend.
