Natural Loofas are hard to find not bleached and of high quality. These loofahs came in an air-sealed plastic and compressed, making them easier to store and smaller to ship. They must be rehydrated to use, meaning they need to be soaked in some water. I recommend lightly squeezing and kneading them when they're wet to help get the seeds out. Our home uses these for dishes in the kitchen, they don't scratch our glass mason jars or our stoneware and metal pots, pans, and plates. We also use them to clean rough spots all around our house like manufactured sponges. The small edges of the loofahs are soft and gentle while the wider ends are more abrasive, the inside being the most rough. If you want to clean your body with these I recommend using the softer ends, and cutting them into smaller parts to use them longer. They don't mold at all in our experience using them and they are neat looking if you want to lay them around for a "natural" or "beachy" atmosphere in your home. They do not have exact dimensions because they are plants but are generally within the same few inches of size. They are supposed to be this way. Remember that wet means soft and dry means rough with these. Very functional and useful. We will order again and again when we need them or until they stop providing. Wonderful purchase.

If you want a firm scrubber, these work great. Hold up well and large size. Comes in four pack and have only used one for past 2-3 months. Dries out well.

This is the most amazing way to naturally clean your dishes. I am not using other sponge, but this one. I recommend this product.

Made in China. I don’t understand how they make them so flat for shipping. They hold flat shape until wet. Hoping no chemicals added to perform that stunt. Seeds are in them. They are nice and scratchy once plumped. Slight natural scent/odor upon first use. Hold shape after multiple uses in shower.

After reading the reviews, I bought the package of four Yemtal loofahs. In the photo, the Yemtal loofah is pictured on the right after soaking in warm water. It comes in at 18 inches long and has a pleasantly rough texture for body exfoliation, even if you have sensitive skin. This is a great loofah for getting at those tough-to-reach spots on the back. It's huge and makes exfoliation go very quickly because it covers so much area. I love it. On the left side of the photo is the softer Metluck loofah, also first soaked in warm water. I read the reviews noting that this Metluck loofah was too soft for some, but a soft loofah was exactly what I wanted for my face, which I gently exfoliate in the shower to remove all traces of facial products before proceeding to cleaning my face with a very soft electric bristle brush. This is a wonderful soft loofah. The Metluck comes with four short pieces of rope that you can affix to the loofah to allow it to hang. Both loofahs were just what I was looking for. Very happy with these purchases.

They don't look like the photo until they have been cleaned, bleached and rehydrated. The loofahs arrived vacuumed sealed and each one approximately 1/8th inch thick. They were filthy and covered in dried black mold. After rehydrating they swelled quite a bit, and felt slimy and sticky. Unusable until cleaned and bleached. These are natural loofahs, and the only thing they did to them was bang the seeds out after rubbing the skins off and letting them dry in humid conditions until they got black mold. Extremely disappointed doesn't begin to describe my feelings. They did include short cords so you could poke a hole in them and hang them up. After being cleaned and bleached, I'm sure they would be good for housework, but I would NEVER let these touch human skin. They turned the water dark brown when I tried to rehydrate them.

I really like these. The only issue is that they're all supposed to be the large size but only 2 of them were. I noticed that others mentioned the same thing. If the seller is going to be sending 2x large and 2x medium, then they should be advertised as such. Apart from that, they're good sponges!

What I do with mine is a cut them length wise and half, and then fold the loofa in half again and use it for washing. I was taught this by a Middle Eastern person many years ago! These are good for occasional exfoliating. A person may not want to use it on a daily basis because he can be a little aggressive on skin but a person has also be mindful of how much pressure they’re using.

Absolutely fabulous loofahs!! 100% natural but need cleaning and de seeding. Highly recommended.
