I'm new to drinking wine, so buying the right wine glass was a challenge. I loved the simple, classic and beautiful design. It is crystal clear and very smooth to the touch. It holds a lot of wine per glass, so I don't fill it up much. I like the sturdiness of the glass. Tired of almost tipping over the stemmed glasses. These stemless glasses are the perfect solution. The rim is made of thinner glass and that works well for me. They wash well in the dishwasher, too. For the price, these 4 glasses are excellent. The box makes for good, safe storage. It'll be nice to use them when company visits. The only thing about these glasses I don't care for is the wide base. It is tough for me to get ahold of it and that is troublesome. For people with large hands, these glasses would be perfect. Smaller hands make it difficult or uncomfortable to pick them up. Next time I will order smaller glasses, but for now, they will be used only when company comes over. For everyday use, I will seek a smaller sized wine glass.

I drink a lot of quality wine. I received these glasses about four days ago. The second time I used one it broke in my hand just picking it up. Last night I used one and after I was finished I lightly hand washed and placed it on a napkin to dry. Tonight I picked it up to use and the top 1/2 inch of the glass stayed on the napkin. A clean break all around. I don’t know how I could have handled the glass more delicately. I have two left. I like the shape and size, but ….

Very graceful, nice shape -- quite large (might be a problem for someone with small hands).

These glasses are great for wine, spirits or water. They are a heavy crystal and not the flimsy light glasses that you might expect. They have a capacity of a pint so beware of how much you fill it up! Great glasses. Expensive but worth the money
