Are you able to detach the break from these skates?

I think you probably could remove it. However, we did that with my husband's k2 skates and it just looks a little funny because it looks like there's a space where the brake would be attached to the back wheel.

Perfect rollerblade for years of growing!

K2 has always been an excellent brand for rollerblades. I grew up on them! What I love about this specific rollerblade is the adjustable foot size. Kids grow fast so the fact that you are going to get years of growth out of these blades is an amazing purchase. The shoe adjusting is super easy to do…in fact it’s a button and moving the tract in and out to match your child’s foot. Great design. They glide well.
