Lighter weight alloy mix with armor tip & 1000 fps.....went through several layers-==-=-=-=-=->
**********SEE UPDATE 2/28/13 BELOW USING PBA ARMOR .22 CAL TRIALS WITH A DIANA RWS 350 P MAGNUM *********** I was concerned about this .22 cal PBA armor version as I have used the same in .177 cal, found them to be light and uncertain with a Talon Magnum Walther, although they are a carried option,so far the same in .22 with a Ruger Magnum where I have achieved a 'several layer' metal sheet, stainless steel first, teflon binder and wood board penetration, maybe because the .22 is same alloy but a touch heavier ? More edited reviews on this with time and trials, Integrity of terminal performance has not been completed, nor has ballistic gel block measurements, as this is first day of trials, will need time to prime new Ruger Magnum, (although made in China, I know.....close enough to a RWS 350) so stay tuned, more to come..... *** UPDATE - 2/28/2013 Got rid of 'made in China .22 cal ' RUGER...... went for la grand damme, RWS DIANA 350 P MAGNUM, yes , made in Germany of course, eloquence and great craftsmanship give this beauty an edge. Reason therefore, an update utilizing the lighter weight Armor alloy armor PBA version by Gamo ( I use both versions , lead and alloy ) the wondrous retained speed and accuracy and penetration both stainless steel plates and teflon plate backing = double my penetration availability using the DIANA .22 cal ( Interestingly , penetration same distance using lead version of same ammo is not as efficient on hard surface target ) Ballistic block trials however, show me 8 -9 inches penetration on terminal performance finals . *** HUNTING - I WILL THEREFORE BE INCLINED TO CARRY BOTH LEAD AND ALLOY PBA ARMOR VERSION .22 CAL (AND A 32 GRAIN .22 CAL HEAVY HITTER BY EUN JIN ) DEPENDING ON TARGET SPEED AND VARIABLES, I AM CONVINCED RWS DIANA MAGNUM .22 CAL WILL PROVE TO BE RELIABLE , PRECISE , EFFICIENT , I HAVE FULL CONFIDENCE IN MY GAMO PBA ARMOR ALLOY MIX AND LEAD PENETRATORS. note=-=-=-=--=> Pellet efficiency has been Increased for me because of a washing of pellets, drying and utilizing an all purpose lub oil , just a little, roll pellets back and forth in strong paper towel , wrap tight in container, allow to permeate overnight, open and roll to get off excess , when they shine they are ready to use. This process will keep your barrel buildup and Increase performance variables, based on my experience. *** Be safe , be well, happy hunting ! PS- I remain very satisfied in these Initial trials, no regrets, these are very cool, highly recommended DEPENDING ON THE GUN. WALTHER TALON MAGNUM .177 CAL AND RWS DIANA 350 P MAGNUM .22 CAL ARE BOTH POSTIVE . Joe Friday 'I drive car 54 '

Cool red tip Gamo pellets
Excellent pallets for the Gamo air rifle works well with the 10 shot loader. They seem to be just a little bit smaller than the normal 22 caliber pallet.

Great
I use these in my Hammerli. They are not as accurate as my usual pellets. They do however get the job done. Not one of the pellets were defective. I have received other brands that the tips had disconnected and were lying in the tin. That was a no issue with these.

TOP FLIGHT ACCURACY IN A NEW RIFLE!
Shot these through my Gamo Wildcat Whisper today. WOW!!! Five shots into 1.5 inches, 4 shots under a dime!!! I've tried several pellets in this new rifle and had one other pellet group almost as well. Two brands were decent for a new, not broken in rifle. I'm expecting better overall accuracy as the rifle gets more broken in. Only 100 pellets so far. If you're checking out different pellets for your new or broken in rifle, give these a try. I could not be more pleased!

ANOTHER GREAT PAPER PUNCHER - BETTER COST THAN SIMILAR OFFERING FROM CROSMAN 7.9g WADCUTTER
OVERVIEW Bought these to compare with other wadcutters / flat nose in the same price range (e.g. Crosman 7.9 grain Match Wadcutter) and 7.4 Competition Wadcutter). As a test I shot them out of a Hatsan Mod 125 Vortex break barrel with open sights and an Umarex Gauntlet PCP with a Clive scope, indoors at 10 meters. Most other types of pellets (round nose, hollow point, etc.) typically tear up paper and don't make nice holes. The problem is made worse when using splatter targets with the other type of pellets, but these worked super great. Wadcutters / flat nose pellets are great for punching paper when sighting an air gun. The pellets are supposed to be 7.56 grains. I got the scale out and weight them each twice ensure that the placement on the scale wasn't affecting the reading. I picked 3 a random that weighed in at 7.5, 7.56, and 7.5 grains for an average of 7.53 grains and a standard deviation .05. I measured the skirts that resulted 4.67, 4.68, and 4.67 for an average of 4.687 and a standard deviation of .015 mm. The lengths came in at 5.5, 5.48 and 5.49 mm for an average of 5.487 mm and a standard deviation of .012. For comparison, the Winchester Round nose 9.6 grain pellets came in at 4.54 mm on average for the skirt and at 5.84 mm on average for the length. PROS ►Great for punching paper ►Weights were relatively consistent ►Worked well in both a magnum break barrel and a PCP indoors at 10 meters ►Did not appear to be any damaged skirts ►Pellets were clean ►Better price than the Crosman 7.9 grain match wadcutters ►Slightly price to the Crosman 7.4 grain competition wadcutters CONS ►Tin was incredibly difficult to get open - had to use a vice to hold the base ►Compared to the Crosman match 7.9 grain, the Crosman did better in the Hatsan 125 break barrel; for the Umarex Gauntlet there really was not much difference RECOMMENDATION All in all these performed about as well as the more expensive Crosman wadcutters both the match 7.9 and the competition 7.4 grains. Because the Hatsan is a beast of a gun, any pellet under 9.8 are going to be hit or miss because of how fast it pushes the pellets, but all in all for most other break barrel, C02, or multi-pump air guns these Gamo Match Classics will work just fine. When looking at the photos of the target, especially when looking at the bottom of the target, it is more clear the difference in the performance of the pellet in the Umarex PCP vs the Hatsan break barrel, the PCP wholes are much cleaner. Glad I picked these up, based on the price and performance they may be my go to pellets for general plinking and air gun sighting.

Wow!
I had only heard recently of folks using air guns for hunting. Since I only like small game since I am not a fan of field dressing deer and also see deer too close to pet like or even human like, but birds and fish are more distant relatives and seem fit for food. I did not even invest in one of the high-pressure PCP guns to give this a try hunting. With a great deal of patience, I found I could even hunt dove with an old-school pump action single shot. It takes a great deal of accuracy, and I only try if I am really close. This brings the sport into small game hunting. I read in field and stream that a dove's feathers can act to deflect a pellt. I tried still. I found at close range with a 22 pellet even 20 foot-pounds of energy will do the job with a well placed shot. It is very tricky. In general, I do not recommend it, but it was impressive to see that it is indeed possible. As I said, only with the infromation age this far into maturity have I ever heard of anyone hunting with air rifles, and when I first looked into the topic, most everyone was suggesting it takes a good marksman and a PCP. I did, however, find some with photos and videos, hunting small game such as squirrel (yuck) and dove (very tricky) with old-school pump air rifles. Now, that being said, it did take this ammo. I was not successful with any other ammo. This penetrates nicely, cleanly and is very stable. Without the stability of this pellet, I'd not have the accuracy to ever hit a dove even at close range. Even though I remember as a child (many moons ago. I am 50 years of age), my redneck cousins killing robins with pump-action pellet guns just out of meanness, I'd not ever heard serious discussion of hunting with air guns until recently, and key to my cousins' success was the abundance of robins and the good chance of getting a really close shot. I see the PCP guns can supposedly even be used for deer hunting. These air guns definitely bring the sport into hunting. Though I am a "Southern boy," I have always taken Ron White's view of hunting. Since most folks likely will not know what that means, Ron White is a Texas redneck similar to me as I am a southern redneck (lol). He, nonetheless, makes fun of his many redneck friends who take pride in taking down humongous bucks with thirty ought six Springfield after spending the previous weekend siting their scope to sub minute of angle accuracy... though Ron tells it in a way as only a good comedian can. The short of it being, Ron, as do I, consider it silly that many of our redneck friends (ourselves rednecks admittedly) find it impressive to take out a large buck with highly powerful and highly accurate firepower. He goes on to joke that "so what I took out a 12-point with my 76 Chevy van going 50 mph." Now I hope I and Ron do not offend too many folks, but for those who hunt smaller game will appreciate the challenge of hunting rabbit or dove with an air rifle. It is a real challenge. These pellets make the accuracy to do so possible, even at low energy. I find it easier with the lower energy 22 than the higher energy 17. Oh! One thing I'd like to add in the event someone, who as with me until recently, is not very familiar with hunting with air rifles: I had always felt I am such an awful shot that I'd not stand a chance with a air gun. Since my single-shot, pump-action air pellet rifle has ZERO recoil, my accuracy really surprised me. It wasn't near as difficult as I expected. At much range, I still am not good at estimating drop, and I think even if I were the energy would be too low even with teh best air pellet, unless using a PCP.

Excellent quality pellets.
These pellets are consistently sized and surprisingly accurate with a Gamo air rifle. Probably the best ammo I've used so far.
