Flora: Divine Patroness of Gardens Statue

I few years ago I bought the angel woman with her wings wrapped around her and she was beautiful..I knew they wouldn't disappoint me...this piece is large and just as beautiful and definitely worth the money...I love all their pieces...I most likely will order something different when I'm in need...absolutely beautiful

I purchased this statue for indoor use versus a garden. It's in my bedroom and I absolutely love it. The quality is awesome and it arrived quickly with no damage. I was very concerned because the statue is made of breakable material, but it was packaged extremely well. There was not a mark on it when I took it out of the box. The statue is even prettier than in the picture. I would definitely recommend the seller and the product. And, as it is for me, it also makes a great indoor statue...not just a garden statue outside (though it would be beautiful there, too). Thank you so much.

"Flora" is easily my favorite garden statue. Elegant and finely detailed, the "divine patroness" watches over the garden. Beautifully crafted. Heavy enough that she won't blow over in gusty winds.

My daughter passed away almost 7 years ago at age 33. I have been wanting that special piece of art to go into a memorial garden, meditation garden and when I saw this I knew immediately this was the piece. She would look up every sunny day and love the feel of the sun on her face, with arms outstretched like she was about to fly away just relish in the moment. This was twice what it's concrete counterpart was but the detail is so worth the extra money. Wish it was taller but a stone craftsman is making me a four foot base to place her on.

I have several statues from Toscano, all well made, but I paint all of them as they arrive with a ghostly grey color. This one was no exception, and I added some extra color because the statue seemed to demand it since the lady was covered with a garland of roses. I spray paint the basic statue and then, depending on the statue, either mask off part and spray a complementary color, such as a dress or hair, but in this case that would have been too difficult so I got out my acrylic paints and hand painted the roses, and while I was at it I painted her face and hands a skin color. I always expect to do something to Toscano sculptures unless they are pre-painted. Sometimes I just spray the entire sculpture, but I usually choose a paint with a texture to simulate stone.

This is a gorgeous piece that I placed in my front yard garden. I placed white perennial hibiscus around it that have red centers. Her name is Flora, the Greek goddess of flowers. Perfect!!

I used my airless sprayer did ultra pure white high gloss and then I colored her roses with at red and green from a rose growing in the garden. Figure bring the goddess of flowers it suits her.

Everything I'd hoped for. Nice facial features. Very beautiful with great detail. If the online pictures appeal to you, I would highly recommend. She is even more beautiful in person.
