Then I spotted this 96% natural version with no aluminium and decided to give it a try, didn't hold out much hope as I have tried dozens of natural ones over the years and just ended up stinky after a few hours with them! I actually ended up giving this deodorant a really good, if unexpected, test, as the day after It arrived, after applying it after one shower, I went down with the dreaded lurgy - not the Covid type just the regular lurgy! So, I ended up not having a proper wash let alone a shower for three days, yeah I was really sick. I sniffed my armpits each and every day as I was sure I must stink, and as my adult son was the only person I was in contact with I made him sniff my armpits too, he objected in no uncertain terms but gave in to his sick Mummy's pleas eventually, and not once did I smell of anything other than coconut, and that only faintly! Is this normal?** A: to get the deodorant stick to dispense more usable material you need to twist the dial on the bottom of the casing. You don't want too much of the stick contents exposed at once or it will get squashed each time you use the lid. There is a certain amount left behind at the end of the life of the dispenser and that has been the case for decades with this product. There is ALWAYS some wasted material left which is frustrating and annoying. It is easy to design something more intelligent to not make that waste in the first place. However that would mean design and tooling costs which I doubt the manufacturer wants to spend money on.
