This stuff is pretty nice and I can say with full confidence that it did make my nails stronger within like a week or two! To give you an idea of what my nails are like, I have very dry hands and weak bendy nails that often chip due to housework and few of my other hobbies. I've never really been keen on growing them out so they're short most of the time, but even then they're thin enough to bend!! (yikes!!!) I also get hangnails, have a more than often uneven free edge due to birttleness, and have pretty dry cuticles :( I try to apply this stuff after washing my hands. I pat them dry but I aim to apply when the skin around my nail is still soft so it locks in a bit of moisture! I prefer this to jist about every cuticle oil I've tried. The texture itself is a bit thicker than expected, it's almosg like an oily light cream? Like a mixture between vaseline and a normal hand cream! Not too greasy, not very thin... it doesnt absorb immediately. When I first bought it I tried by best to apply whenever my hands got dry. After 3 days of consistent use... I'd say about like 3 times a day maybe? I saw a difference in my hangnails and cuticles! Even when I didn't go to apply hand cream or this cream after washing my hands my cuticles were noticeably more moisturized! Eventually I stopped seeing as many hang nails and I slowed down my use to once a day, usually after doing my skincare at night or just before bed. The first week of consistent use made my nails strong enough to stop chipping so frequently and way less bendy!! I use this stuff... infrequently, usually when my hands and nails and noticeably dry or brittle, but I think the infrequent use is enough to maintain the results I had when I used it every night! Also a little goes a long way... this stuff lasts a while!! I just bought my dad his own little tub because he seemed to liked it too :)

I have only used this cream for two days and the improvement in my cuticles is dramatic. My cuticles and the skin around my nails were cracked, dry, and painful. After just two applications, the pain is gone, the dryness has cleared up significantly, and my cuticles are on their way to being completely healed. I have used Dior Crème Abricot which costs around 40 dollars for a tiny 0.28 ounce jar. I can honestly say this Healthy Hoof Cream is hands down more effective. The Dior is nice but this works better for me. The cream itself is thick and creamy and feels luxurious when you apply it. It does not really have a scent, which I appreciate. A little goes a long way. I actually liked it so much that I started using it on my feet for dry cracked heels, and it works beautifully there too. My only wish is that they made a larger size so I could use it on my body as well. For anyone dealing with dry, cracked, or painful cuticles, I highly recommend this before spending money on expensive luxury brands. This is now my go to cuticle treatment and foot cream in one.

I'll start by telling you, I was an acrylic junkie starting back in 1990 and wore acrylic nails consistently until last fall. About 5 years ago I switched to the powder and then to gel nails shortly after that. After all those years of fake nails, without a break, plus I am a picker of nails when they feel like they're lifting. If all 10 nails lasted 2 full weeks I was lucky. I usually couldn't help myself and picked them off completely before going back to the salon. It was so embarrassing. My nail beds were in shambles, they were thinner than paper. After I stopped the fake nails, tasks like folding clothes were a pain, they snagged my clothing, were sensitive under warm water, and just a mess. I bit my nails to the quicks. I was wearing gloves to try and stop, and to hide my hideous fingers. I can't wear polish, even nail strengthener polish would be picked off within 3 days. I needed something I couldnt pick off, that would heal my super damaged nails, and I almost gave up. I was thinking about going back to the salon, and dreaded it, since I'm low on cash. Then I saw this product, read some reviews, and bought a jar. What a lifesaver this product has been for me. I didn't notice anything the 1st week, but I liked the gentle moisturizing feeling and the light scent. Man! In 3 weeks I started noticing my nail beds were healing. The rough scaley look was smoothing over. The peeling stopped. The sensitivity was gone. Now a tiny bit of white at the tips are growing out and I can feel them getting stronger. I am so thrilled! I have hope now that I can grow my nails out. No snagging anymore and no hiding my hands. Best yet, when I want to pick or bite my nails, I reach for my jar and start rubbing my nails with this awesome balm. I've only been using it 4 weeks, and wish I had before pics. I'll never go without it, it saved me a ton of money too, no salon visits ever again!!

Finished a jar of the other popular nail cream and was unimpressed with the scent, feel and overall effects. ENTER GENA! A little of this goes a long way, scent is nice, very mild and spa like to me. But most importantly my hands aren't greaseballs after using! It absorbs really quickly and has made a noticeable difference in my peeling nails. Will be getting the bigger jar, this is staying in my nail care routine!

This stuff works! Before, my nails were brittle and would crack, always had to keep them short. My cuticles were terrible. With this cream, my nails are stronger and grow without splitting. My cuticles are much smoother and healthier looking. I bought another one to keep at keep at my desk at work and I have one at home. I put it on my nails several times a day and they are not messy like the oils. So glad I found this.

This is my favorite cuticle and nail conditioner not only because it's priced reasonably but also because it works as good as SALLY. I was surprised that my husband started using!

I've been using this product for years on my finger and toe nails/cuticles. I credit it that although I garden, cook, have my hands in water, and use my fingernails as tools they rarely chip/crack/break. I use the product a couple of times a day rubbing it into my nails, cuticles, and whole hand and foot. It is a little tacky when you first use it but it goes away in a few minutes (a little goes a long way). The fragrance isn't great but light enough it doesn't follow you. I've experienced no issues with redness or itchiness using it and my nails will grow as long as I want them to be. When I go to get a mani/pedi I tell them, when asked, what I use. They tell me I have no cuticle issues and comment that my nails are strong and healthy with no indentions, splits, or seams. My nails aren't thick or yellow, and I do not wear gel or polish. I like the look of a natural nail without color. I use an old toothbrush with a little toothpaste and baking soda and scrub the underneath of my nails (as I pull weeds, etc., cook beets, it can stain my nails) and then they look white and healthy, sort of like having a french manicure -- pink undercoat, white tips. I credit this product with helping to keep my nails and cuticles well moisturized and strong and I love buying it in these little jars so that I can fly with one, keep one in my purse, one in my office, and one where I watch TV.

This cream is great stuff for very thick toenails that are hard to cut. It softens the nails so that they are more manageable.

I love this, it smells lovely but not strong so it wont be distracting when you try to sleep. I use it every night before bed and my nails have never been better. They barely break now and the ridges have almost gone. You only need a tiny amount so this size tub lasts for ages. cannot recommend enough to anyone with brittle nails
