Great temp monitor, love it. Installed it in my 2008 Explorer to monitor the A/C temperature.

I bought the KETOTEK Digital Thermometer Temperature Gauge to monitor the inside temperature of a tower gaming computer after I installed aquarium filter material at all the tower vent locations. After covering all the openings of the tower with the filter material, I wanted to monitor the inside temperature of the computer tower since the computer remains on 95% of the time. The filters work great with little to no dust build-up, and the interior tower temperature remains constant, reading between 63 and 71 degrees. The temperature gauge is plugged into a USB port and runs 24/7. Using a piece of rigid foam, the temperature probe is anchored upright in the middle interior space of the tower. Some temperature gauges go dark after a short period of time and require being touched to illuminate the face to read the gauge. The face of the KETOTEK Digital Thermometer is easy to read and remains illuminated 24/7, even when the computer is turned off. I have the gauge set to read Fahrenheit, but the gauge arrives set to read Celsius. At the back of the gauge, there is a small pin that, once removed with tweezers, switches from reading Celsius to reading Fahrenheit.

Very fast and accurate for increasing temperature and monitoring variation. It is much slower in settling back to a lower temperature when ramped up by touch and holding the thermocouple sensor with my fingers. The display is bright and easy to read. I am using it for my aquarium tank to check the water temp to the readout from the heater. Someone else posted that the thermocouple interface was rusting but I put Aqueon silicone sealant to prevent that and I think that should fix that issue. I plan to but more for my other tanks.

This thermometer works well and seems pretty accurate. However, I should have thought twice about the size of the display (which is clearly shown in the photos and the description). I thought it would be big enough but, I find it a little small to read from any further than a couple of feet away. The colorful display is good, I just wish it was a little larger. I bought the USB style and using a typical USB power block is a convenient power method. The probe wire length is adequate but, a little more length would be ideal. Overall, I think this is a good probe-style thermometer for the cost, with a clear and colorful (although small) display. I give it a solid 4.5 stars.

Surprisingly nice little temperature meter. Clear, bright and responsive. I have the usb powered version and the wired version. Both work great. No problem at all removing the jumper to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit. You might need some tweezers.

I had to troubleshoot a big class A audio amplifier that we suspected was failing due to overheating. I got several of these thermometers and placed them on the heat sinks and other parts of the circuitry so I was able to get real life measurements easily. I don't know if they are "accurate" since I didn't test them against another type, but the ones I got are consistent, meaning they all measure the same temp under identical conditions. And for macro measurements, such as room temp, they measured the same thing as the thermostat in the AC... so for what it's worth. Plus, oh... yeah... they look cool if you like meters, knobs, switches, lights..... ;-)

I'm using it over the air intake of my main PC, to monitor room temperature. It's a nice little add-on so that I know that I'm not really freezing in the winter, it just feels that way. Getting the clip off so as to read in degF was a pain, though. Not much room to reach in, and that little sucker was in there TIGHT! Edit: Bought two more, so I will have one for intake air temperature, one for room temperature, and one for outside air. In the photo, all three probes are taped together. I haven't compared them to a calibrated thermometer, but they all read very close to each other, so it's good so far.

Smaller than I expected but can't find anything bigger like this. Very accurate, off 0.5f from what my NIST standard thermometer says. Brightly lit all the time, which I like. The gauge above the temperature readout seems to do nothing, just for looks. Rather the gauge was off and had larger temp readout. The USB power cord is very short, so buy a USB extender cord if you need a longer cord. Wish the display was waterproof, but I'm going to put some silicone on top where two holes are, which may help against small accidental splashes and such.
