Dead after 8 months.
Worked okay for a while and then died after 8 months of occasional use.

Updating my review. Charger stopped working after 20 days with smoke coming out of it and didn't bring all the promised stuff in the box. Spend a little more on a different one and save yourself from a possible fire.

Optimal charger
Having the comfort of knowing this product is certified makes me feel so much more comfortable. It has worked perfectly for me and even reduced the charging heat that used to occur with my old charger

Affordable universal charger
My alienware laptop charger was no longer in production, so I purchased this for it. Affordable, works well with other laptops and easy to use.

Worked fine for a year and then it died
Used this on my Alienware m17 R4. It worked perfectly for about a year and then it died. It no longer charges my laptop at all. I confirmed this by attaching a different power supply and then my laptop powered on right away.
