Bell Sanction Adult Full Face Bike Helmet

Bit heavy and as described fit whole cheek is compressed..but design is cool !!

We purchased this helmet since our son is turning into a daredevil on two wheels. He has already gone through a number of standard youth helmets. I was never really satisfied with any of them for a number of reasons. They either appear to be toys themselves or the fit was just not quite right. This past year both he and his older sister acquired Razor scooters and this brings in a whole new level of wanting the proper protection. He is 6 years old and his head measured in at 21 1/4". We ordered a med and it fits perfectly. I was very impressed with the quality of this helmet. The padding is similar to a standard motocross helmet (cloth covered compressible foam), nothing like the hard Styrofoam traditional bike helmets are made of. Its pricey but small in comparison to a head or facial injury. Next stop, a nice set of elbow pads.

Great product but fit is tight on the cheeks. You should order one or two sizes up.

I crashed today, this helmet saved my life.

This helmet ran small (or my kid has huge head) so we exchanged it for the next size up. If anyone has a threenager you know full well that once their mind is made up (its too small, tight, whatever) its nothing short of a miracle to reverse course. None the less, after the 5th round of 'it's a new helmet in a bigger size' we were able to try the helmet on and we haven't heard a complaint since. No complaints when he has to put it on to ride his bike, four wheeler, etc. I also appreciate how durable it is as no matter how many times I offer to carry the helmet to the preferred activity, Mr. Independent insists upon carrying himself and inevitably drops it like a bad habit each time - someone let me know if there is a way to justify continuing to wear a scratched helmet when the day comes to persistent, spirited and persuasive individual. To date, it remains in great shape whether dropped on the ground or introduced to the ground via loss of balance on the bicycle. I also want to give a sincere thanks to the Nitro Circus for the red, white and blue, with stars, paint job. Our threenager chose this one and loves it.Friendly advice for any parents getting this for a toddler, let them pick the one they want. You may think you know which one they would like but do you really ever know whats going through a toddlers head?

This was a great hit because my 9 & 11 year old boys thought it looked cool. Tricky to get on, but a neighbor showed them how to use the side tabs to pull it apart as you put it on so it doesn't fold your ears over. Fits snuggly and works well for the Go Karts.
