This isn’t included with the pet door. So the door, tunnel, battery and charger are all purchased separately and you end up with about $600 to complete. Over priced in my opinion.

Customer service worked with me to meet my needs. They were very responsive to my emails. I love this dog door. My dogs love the freedom to go in and out on their own.

The first problem we noticed is that the light on the charger only indicates that the charger is plugged in to the power source, not that it's charging the battery. There is no indicator showing if a battery is charging or fully charged.The second problem is that the battery that we received is not the battery pictured. It's a grey and white battery, brand name "Sigmas".The third problem is that the battery hasn't even lasted two months.We bought this charger and battery and an additional battery. We have been using them now for two months. Since we installed the dog door in the back door, we needed to use it on the battery, it's not just for battery back up. Our dog likes to stick his head out the door and sniff the backyard (he's deaf, so sniffing is how he "hears") so the battery gets a little more use than I think they would with a hearing dog.Normally we go a week between charges. Since I can't tell when the battery is fully charged, I leave one in the charger and the other in the door, and switch them when the one in the door is dead. Over the last two weeks I've noticed that one of the batteries isn't holding a charge. Last week I put it in and the next morning the battery light was blinking. I thought perhaps I hadn't seated it properly, so I switched the batteries again, making sure it was properly seated (fortunately, the other one had fully charged overnight). Last night I saw that it was time to change the battery again, so I did, and this afternoon the dog was locked out. The battery light was blinking red and the door wouldn't open at all, even with the door open button. The battery isn't holding a charge.I've contacted Amazon about an exchange, but I have no confidence in this battery brand.

This works perfect and charging is fast.

Charge lasts about 2-3 weeks.

Operates the door very well. Should be part of the kit rather than a extra charge accessory in my opinion

Firstly the item was not the same as in the images. Secondly when I fully charged the battery and plugged it into the electric door, it didn’t work. It made the right LEDs light up in the door for a minute, then the door lights started failing. Hopefully it didn’t damage the door permanently. Not impressed!Update: this is not eligible under the normal prime return. And I can’t return it yet as I received it before the “arrival shipping date”. I’m not sure yet but I think I may have to pay return shipping.I do not want to attempt a replacement. Quality control is obviously poor. I Would not buy again.

looks nothing like picture, i think i was sent the older model that i already own and doesnt work. let down.
