A minute? Two minutes?** A: Typically the slurry starts to dry after 20-30 seconds, however it does depend on the applied pressure, and RPMs of the power drill being used. **Q: when using this product is there any haze on the glass and how do you remedy it to fie the haze ?.** A: There is no haze. This is a glass polish. The powder is EXTREMELY fine. It will remove scratches in glass, but the process is very slow. I had "cleaned" my window above our kitchen sink with the Scotch-Brite scrubber sponge I used for the dishes. It removed the stuff on the glass, but to my horror, left scratches on a 18" square area. A new window was going to run $500. I found this stuff and it got off about 90% before I quit. The glass was vertical of course so I was holding my drill with the polishing wheel straight out from me at just the wrong distance (over the sink plus another 6" for the window ledge) for me to provide any real leverage. I would make a thick slurry of the powder in water and go after a 6" area until my arms gave out, recover, and do it again. When I got to the point where only I could see the scratches, I called it good enough. This took about 3 hour of polishing. **Q: Will this remove frit from windows?** A: I have no clue what frit is, but it removed swirls and light scratches on my Nissan 240sx windows. **Q: Anyone recommend a cheap drill to use for this? I tried another similar product that comes already mixed but with less already mixed oxide and with instructions, although this product gives more than enough oxide to provide multiple applications and has a better polishing pad.
