Innoshine B570 Stainless Steel Cleaner & Rust Remover 8.45 ounces

This is an updated review: I’m just gonna come out and say it. My refrigerator was scratched solely due to user error and had nothing to do with this product. My technique was aggressive, and I’ll admit, I’m an amateur at stainless steel appliance cleaning. I just tried this product on my other appliances (dishwasher and oven) and it worked so beautifully, with 0 scratches! This product should work perfectly for people with common sense, I apologize for blaming it for my own shortcomings. Old Review: Does not work very well and it left scratch marks on my refrigerator! My refrigerator was not very rusty to begin with and it did not lift all of the rust, even after reapplying 3 times.

I had rust stains on my newish dishwasher door and bottom freezer section of my fridge, maybe because I live near the coast. I first applied the cleaner with a regular damp sponge to the dishwasher, waited one minute, wiped vigorously, and no improvement. I was mad. Then I went through the same process with the fridge. Again, nothing. So I went back to the dishwasher, applied some more product, wiped with the sponge, and saw a small improvement. Lightbulb. I switched to a plastic scrubber sponge, applied more product, and voila! Streaks started disappearing with repeated scrubbing. Ditto with the fridge. Then I wiped both appliances clean with warm, wet paper towels. Both look perfect! The entire process took about 25 minutes. I think what helped is to use a plastic scrubber sponge after the cleaner has soaked into the rust. Also, use the cleaner liberally. I repeated this process about 3X, alternating between my 2 appliances. I don't see any scratches or abrasive marks. I'm very happy!

I'm not holding the product responsible for its inability to remove the rust from my stainless steel refrigerator because I have tried several products and nothing has worked. I unsuccessfully removed the rust specs after five tries. The area without rust looked spotlessly cleaned though.

I had rust on a 4 week old Viking exhaust hood. It was about 3" x 2" on the side. I called Viking who had me perform a few things in an attempt to remove the rust; nothing worked! Viking then dispatched a brand new hood to the installer at no charge. In the interim of waiting for the unit to arrive to be installed, I purchased this item on Amazon. It worked perfectly! The rust just came right off. I was able to cancel the install of the new hood. Yes, a lot of people would have had the new hood installed, but... I have grout around mine as it butts up to the tile backsplash. The last thing I wanted to do was have to call a tile guy too. Anyway, 10 stars!

This product doesn't remove rust and is very expensive. Wasted my money.

This product was a godsend I have a fairly new kitchenaid dishwasher that Developed nasty rust marks even though I only used it 4 times (Thanks a lot whirlpool. Never again My old kitchenaid was at least 12 years old and had no rust) This baby though got rid of every last rust stain I left it on Longer than indicated since my stains were resistant But after 3 attempts and some elbow grease they were gone So does what it says it will Isn’t that refreshing?

The product was delivered in a plain plastic bottle with no label or instructions. I have no idea if the product is the correct item that I ordered. Am returning
