Sehr gutes Geschirr

Great harness with detachable backpack
I love the Hurtta Trail Harness and that the backpack is detachable which is great. I ordered the Trail Pack which comes with the harness. It's nicely padded on the straps so it won't rub.

A great harness. *****Update/Edit Below*****
My Husky/German Shepard is around 57lbs, lean, and loves to pull and run. So far, the product is working very well. I swap a 'biner from the front to the back rings depending on what's around us. I'm still dialing in the fitting on my dog, but I'm pleased so far with the results. I'm happy with the craftsmanship, sleek-black look, and the amount of under-padding for my pup. The reflectors work well at night, and I've used the handle to lift the dog or hold her in place if needed. I also have her carrying hammock-straps and my hammock at the moment. I tie up to a tree, and she gets a set for herself: daisy chained, and wrapped around a tree so she can free roam around the hammock site. It's been working great, and she loves it. I have only used the harness a few times for some day hikes, thus far, and not the saddle-bags as of yet. I'll return and review when I get her out on the trails. At first glance, the bags look great. I ran my faucet over them and the inside has stayed dry. I purchased a few flexible water bladders to fit inside, and hopefully distribute the weight in a comfy way for my adventure pup!*** Update ***As of right now, my harness is still going strong! It shows a little wear in the mesh/breathable layer (from dog claws when she's playing with friends, and some thorns and what have you on the trail). The bags are still working flawlessly, and the harness is still a work horse! I've had it 7-8 months now, and my Derg and I have been hiking plenty! We have camped a total of 3x, each a 3 day/night excursion. We've put near 70 miles on the harness and bags during camping alone -- in a lot of cases, this is on various unofficial trails in Red River Gorge, KY, which mean sandstone, brush, and water! The gear is holding up, and my baby LOVES to pull, pull, pull, and chase anything that moves. Other than that, I take her on day hikes, a few mile walks to the local pub, and on socialization dates with other doggy friends! I'm updating this, as I'm here to purchase another -- I rescued another Shepard/Husky, and plan to enrich her life as much as I'm able! I've also since purchased Hurtta's Life Savior PFD (I have two Kayaks, and she's fallen in two rivers and one lake so far and swam right back!), and their Dreamer backpacking bed -- used on two of the three trips, one at 20*F (she loves snow!). I'm incredibly happy with all 3 purchases -- and am duplicating my purchases for my new dog.

Amazing
I purchased this a year ago and it has been on a lot of hikes with a growing dog. Sadly, he's grown out of it now but it is incredibly durable and after a hard used year, still in great condition - quality product!
