Dad really liked it
This was part of a set of gifts for my dad. He always needs a toothpick but has troubles with hand mobility. He also likes birds and pretty colors, so this was a no brainer! He loved the weird golden color. Honestly, it's cheap and gimmicky, but it works and does a good job making things easier for him. I wish it held more toothpicks though!

Works Great!
This toothpick dispenser seems to work very well. It hasn't failed to dispense and present a toothpick when actuated. The pretty little bird looks nice, and unlike other models online, it has eyes. Opening the toothpick compartment door is a little tricking because there are no markings to indicate how to do it. It slides forward. There are 2 "hooks" at the extreme left and right ends of the lid. There are no ridges to help with getting some needed friction in order to get it to slide off. Mine was a very tight fit. Perhaps others will open more easily.

Purchased two of these, one for us and one as a gift. We love it and my friends who received it love theirs as well. Cute bird, comes with toothpicks. Great value.

Average toothpicks don’t fit
Love the look of this toothpick holder but the problem is typical size toothpicks do NOT fit in the dispenser. I’ve bought numerous toothpicks from different stores that just don’t work. The plastic is pretty cheap but I would be fine with that if my toothpicks would fit.
