Time and sanity saver!
This was my first time buying washable potty pads and I'm glad I did. I've had these for 3 months now and they've saved me a lot of stress. I have two rescue dogs. One is a miniature poodle that is not capable of being potty trained due to abuse, neglect and trauma he experience as a breeder dog over the first 6 years of his life while locked away in a small cage in a puppy mill. He's scared of everything and will not eat, run around or potty in front of me. This means that when he pees on days where I'm home from work, he holds his pee all day and finally lets loose in his "bedroom" when he can't hold it anymore. Thats a lot of urine. Disposal potty pads weren't cutting it whatsoever no matter what size or brand I used. To make matters worse, his adopted 14 year old miniture cockapoo sister cannot hold her bladder for more than two hours. When I arrived home from work after 8 hours away, their room was like this: 6-8 soaked potty pads that over flowed (even when i overlapped them) and soaked into my wood floors which stained them and caused them to smell like urine, the dogs would walk through the pee which of course got pee on their fur and anything else they laid on/touched and the sticky pads on the bottom of the disposal potty pads would not release from the floor, therefore, they would tear when I went to get them off the floor and the sticky tabs would still be stuck all over the floor. I began to tape down clear shower curtains to the floor in their room to avoid anymore damage to the floor but with the potty pads still over flowing, I had to mop every morning and every time I got home from work (they stay in their room while I'm at work or sleeping). It was so frustrating and I even started to regret adopting them. It was $25 for a box of 100 potty pads and I had to get a box at least every week and a half. With two jobs my income is still pretty limited and going through so many potty pads (that werent even getting the job done) was getting expensive. At the rate i was going through them, i also knew it was creating a lot of enviromental waste. I came across washable potty pads on Amazon, read reviews and figured I had nothing more to lose so I ordered them. Omg, it was one of the best things I have ever bought. BUY THEM, you won't regret it. I put down two (one for each dog) and I change them out every 2 days. I still keep the shower curtains on the floor but only because my male dog sometimes goes to pee on just the corner of the potty pad and he misses. His aim isn't the best. The pads hold up GREAT! The floor underneath is always dry, the pad never leaks urine, the urine smell is a fraction of what it was with the disposal ones (it doesn't really smell at all till I get home on day 2), they wash up beautifully (zero smell and after 3 months of washing, even with bleach, the fabric has not faded), urine does not pool on top of the pad and I no longer have to wash my dogs, their bedding or the floor constantly because of how well these pads work. I've worked in multiple nursing homes and these pads are of better quality than the soaker pads that residents use. They have saved me $100's. Its so nice to walk in the house now from work and spend time with my dogs instead of spending all that time cleaning up after them.

Excellent
I waited a couple of week before reviewing this. Wanted to be sure my initial enthusiasm was warranted. I have 2 small dogs, one partially paper trained, the other, a rescue with erratic habits. It did take a few days for the strangeness to wear off but both dogs seem acclimated to the new system. To start, these pads are much more attractive than newspapers or puppy pads if you use them in an area visible to family or visitors. The print virtually hides stains. You have to really look to determine if it is soiled enough to need washing. I have detected no odors and generally leave one down all day, then swap it out the next morning and wash it. There is no problem with tracking which was a real nuisance before. Much more absorbent than newspaper and less obvious than urine on a puppy pad. I did the math and clearly they are a much more economical choice than puppy pads. Of course, there is no waste for landfills. I had considered dropping one star because when I washed the second one, the outside row of stitching around the edge (serged?) did ravel. I am keeping my eye on that, hoping it was more a cosmetic problem than one that would seriously compromise the expected life of this pad. However, I decided to award the full 5 because I am that convinced of the worth of the pads. And I am pretty optimistic that if this does prove a problem on down the road, the manufacturers will stand behind the product. Only time will tell if they are as durable as they seem. Oh, and they are generously sized, I should think, even for a considerably larger dog if that is a concern. I am happy, period.

Easy change over
I was skeptical that my 3 yo Chi-Shih mix would go for a change in her potty area. I’ve always used regular paper/plastic sheet pads & she has been great as far as training goes. They just don’t absorb fast enough so she usually gets her feet wet leaving 'puddie print' trails when she’s finished. Lots of mopping. She did give the 'stink eye' to the new pads. After close inspection, she finally gave it a try & has been fine with them ever since. The washable pads wick much better so have almost completely eliminated the footprint trails. They absorb fast enough her feet don’t get wet. Due to a medical problem (me) we haven’t been able to walk outside. She never looked forward to walks since she doesn’t like walking on grass. We’ve been total in house & she’s always been pretty good on pads but these new ones are a great change. Wash & dry to come out looking like & smelling like new. Glad I got 2 sets for so don’t have to wash immediately. Definitely recommend for smaller dogs for sure. I will buy again although they look like will last a long time. Will recommend to anyone with smaller dog.

Good, but not the best
*This is going to be very long, due to my thorough testing of various brands, but the information learned is worth it if you want to save money/save environment/save yourself a ton of trouble* Two factors that lead to my experiments with various brands of pee pads: 1.I’m poor, and I wanted to find the most economical/“bang for my buck” brand and 2. I work long hours and have two VERY large dogs that normally get taken out to potty, but are also trained to go on pee pads if nobody is home and they have to go. Let me tell you- these guys produce as much urine per pee as a large beer-drinking adult male lol. Needless to say, I’ve tried many different brands to see if they’re up to the task, and I’ve had to clean up SO many overflows, even if I do 2 or 3 layers of disposable pee pads. So far, the Simple Solution “All Day” variety (NOT the regular kind) have been the absolute best at absorbing the largest quantity of urine without leaking for their size. I’ve also done my own tests to measure the max limit of cups of water each brand can absorb, and the “All Day” pads by Simple Solution far out-absorb their competitors. I could get a full 8 cups before it started overflowing or leaking. The next best brand was Four Paws “Wee Wee Pads”, but their normal pads and their “extra absorbent” pads had VERY little difference in the actual quantity of water absorbed. 2.5-3 cups in regular vs 3.5 in the extra absorbent. Psh. But they did perform better and prevent more leaks than a bunch of other lower end pads I tried. After a few months of buying pee pads and seeing how many trash bags I filled up each week, tossing them out each day, I felt so guilty for the constant amount of plastic waste that it was producing, and I also got tired of paying for another box of pads each week! So I forayed into the world of washable pee pads. There are an endless number of brands and some are labeled for people (bedwetting children or the elderly, etc) and some labeled for pets, but as far as how they function and their absorbency, THERES NO DIFFERENCE except the ones for pets may have a cute bone pattern. (Some claim they have an attractant, but my dogs peed on whatever I put in the area they were used to having pee pads in, so I can’t verify). I tried multiple brands of reusable pads, with a wide variety of quality and absorbency (some were just complete trash) but the absolute BEST one that I found was the IMPROVIA reusable underpad. Unlike others I tried, it has special channels that wick the wetness to the outer edges, where the fabric ALLOWS THE WATER PORTION TO EVAPORATE. WTF!? I was skeptical as always, but after putting it out during the day, when I came home it almost felt dry! Not soaked and heavy like the other brands I had tried. Not only that, but it didn’t stink of pee in the house, either! It blew my mind! Now of course, it has its limits, but so far I’ve even had the dogs use it for a few days in a row before washing it, and it’s blown me away with its absorbent capabilities and the evaporation function. And after washing in the machine, it air dries in an hour (as opposed to other brands, that come out heavy and soaked and take days to air dry). I’m not a bot, nor do I get paid for any of this info (but once again, I’m poor, so hey, Improvia, if you want to send a little money my way for raving about you to every pet owner I run into, that would be great! Lol). But really, I’m just a pet owner who wants to pass on some helpful info, and also encourage others to pick something more environmentally friendly than disposable pee pads. You don’t have to be a hippie to want to help the planet that you live on- every little thing you do counts! So I say, give the reusable kind a try. If you hate them, no big deal- it’s Amazon- just return them! But you might find that they’re actually better than the disposables, and will save you so much money! And if that happens, all I say is “pass the message along”! (And mark this review as ‘helpful’ so it can be seen by more people) :D TLDR: Best disposable- Simple Solution “All Day” variety. Better option- IMPROVIA reuseable pads (last all day and then some!) Will save you hundreds of dollars in a short amount of time, and will also help the planet :)

Looks great and works really well
I was skeptical about this product, but although we have been lucky enough to not have had any major incontinence issues to test it with; my dog knows it's her spot now and my water test really surprised me. I took 4 cups of water & poured it on the top towards the center. As long as I didn't pour it too quickly or too close to the edges, the water was absorbed. I wanted to really test it, so I added an additional 4 cups of water. There was some run off at one of the seams, but for the total of 8 cups of water I had poured on it, and fairly quickly, I was still super impressed with the amount of water it absorbed. I pressed my hand on it and and played with the water a bit, but the results were really shocking when I lifted the side to find that none of the water had leaked through. Since I had used so much water, the excess did spill out as I folded the pad, but that was to be expected. I will continue to use this for my senior dog's occasional accident, but I will also be using it for in the back of the car, and to protect furniture after she gets a bath. I would love to buy this product many larger sizes for furniture and bed protection, but the current size is perfect to put under the cover of her xl dog beds. I will see if I can upload my video of this test. It was performed on dry unsealed concrete that shows even a small drop of water. Note: The spots under the pad are stains not dampness. Oh, the pattern is really cute and the grey and blue-green fit perfectly with our decor. It doesn't stand out as a per pad at all. Guests just think it's a dog blanket/mat.

Very nice piddle pad, absorbent and Great Size for in front of the back door!
I got 2 of the 30 x 36" size to use in front of the back door in case of accidents and for my foster pets who aren't quite housetrained. I have 2 large dogs and one tiny dog. The pad is soft like a piece of flannel fabric and I don't know how it is waterproof but it works great. When it's been used (it is a little difficult for me to tell it's been used...I usually need to rely on my nose), I throw it into the washer on sanitary cycle + pre-rinse with plenty of soap and a little bleach (I also add the Arm & Hammer brand detergent booster because urine smells bad) - no fabric softener - and throw it in the dryer for use next time. When it's not used as a piddle pad, it's presence at the back door neatly absorbs water from 12 paws marks after rain or water play. The pad is soft - other pads have a plastic or rubber bottom that seems intriguing to the dogs and they want to chew on it - but this one is all the same fabric and is soft enough that the dogs will also lay on it. I used to buy the paper/cotton puppy pads but didn't like the waste, and the dogs used to use them and then tear them into tiny pieces which was not fun to clean up. They don't try to tear these up.

These are the best!
These reusable dog pee pads are a practical and eco-friendly solution for me as a pet owner. Its absorbent layers effectively contain moisture, preventing leaks and protect the travel carriers I use them in. The pads are easy to clean, machine washable, and dries quickly, making it convenient for repeated use. Its durability ensures long-term use, saves me money compared to disposable pads. Overall, it's a reliable and sustainable option for any one with pets.

Easily replace paper pads/ less odor - update
Update (Feb 2021) - I've had these since Jan 2018. The pads are still in great shape. Over the years, the urine seems to have built up in them, and I considered starting over with new ones, but then I thought to try a "laundry pre-treatment plus ammonia bouncer. So I soak the pads in a 5 gallon bucket with the pre-treatment for an hour or so, wring them out and then wash. It makes a great difference. I also like to just put these pads on a drying rack in the sun instead of the dryer (on sunny days.) These washable pads easily replaced the paper pads I had been ordering. There is less odor than with the charcoal pads I tried before. The pads are large and well made. I simply wash in warm water and dry in the dryer. I've ordered another pack of two so that I can wash three at a time with one on the ground. I am happy not to be adding any more disposable pads to the landfill. Update: These pads are 100% polyester which was great when I found a small amount of diarrhea on a pad one day. I took it out back and hosed it off easily. update: Still using these 14 months later and still working great. There have been a few times when it was wet under the pad and it was always right near the edge. I think they missed the pad and the liquid went underneath. When these pads start getting too stinky I was them twice with double soap but I don't do this all the time.

We actually bought these for our elderly cat’s litter tray. Really well made. Soft and flexible. Such a great alternative to disposables.

Bueno relación y precio
Me gusto mucho!
