The product phone shows nearly vertical sides, but the 1-star review photo show a markedly sharper angle. I'm looking for a wide base for stability.

Iv'e bought several sets. One set had scalloped sides like an old Bob's Big Boy glass. The other set had vertical sides. They run 3 1/8 across, top to bottom. They hold a lot and keep your ice from melting really well. They are worth the money for sure. The people that broke them, don't know what they're doing. They're plenty thick enough. Hope this helped : )

Has anyone here made Aeropress coffee directly into these glasses? Did they break? Thanks!!

Just had one I've had for around 8 yrs break while using my Aeropress. Tight fit at the mouth of the glass and was trying to squeeze the last bit of coffee out. You should be okay as long as you're careful. >.<
