I use hair conditioner to shave or body wash. It works the same as shave cream for me personally. Make sure to clean and dry it off after use. Don't leave it in the shower or it might rust like anything else that's metal in humid or wet environments. It doesn't shave hair all the way like a razor would which is great to prevent ingrown hair.
