BoschTS1020 Dual-Activation Cartridge

THEY DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DO LOWER THE BLADE BEFORE IT CAN CUT YOUR FINGERS OR ANY OTHER BODY PART.

The tablesaw will not work without these cartridges; a safety design. They absolutely do work as advertised; saving me a loss of finger (be aware that while your wound will be relatively small and finger saving, it will take time to heal-mine took three weeks.)The second cartridge activated for seemingly no reason; i turned on the saw but had not yet begun to make a cut when the cartridge activated. The Bosch aide said humidity, a random micro charge could have activated it. I now set my phone away from my person to make cuts in case a call or text comes in. It was raining when the second cartridge activated, so that may have been it.Good to have an extra set around in case cartridges fire off. Be aware the cost is around $100 for pair set. If both have activated you are dead in the water until the replacement is in place. Given your blade is not ruined if activated, it’s a better design than Saw Stop.

When I first got the saw I was having problems with false activations. Contacted customer support and problem was due to using surge protection power strip. I was trying to protect my expensive saw but turns out it was causing false fires at $60 a pop.Haven’t had a problem once I switched to using a dedicated circuit.

love this saw and am gratful of ita saftey features. that being said it has negligent discharges unprovoked on numerous ocations.

Hard to rate since they are indispensable for the saw's operation. I like this compared to the Saw-Stop system, however!

These cartridges work perfectly. They are easy to install and remove. The best part is when this thing triggers, the blade is fine. I really like these things and they work well. If you own the Reaxx, you should buy a spare set of cartridges.

Fantastic safety idea. Considering the potential cost of an accident, this is a small price to pay. The fact that this setup provides an immediate backup allows a job to continue with minimal interruption.

OEM product, shipped fast and obviously fits well! I keep one on hand as I have tripped the saw with wet wood in the past as I did not use the bypass cut out. Glad to have them.

If you're looking at this you've already got this stupid saw. I'm now purchasingmy second 2nd charge unit which means my saw has gone off, without provocation, 4 times now and I'm $220 out of pocket. I'm sure, should I ever come close to losing a finger I would be happy to have spent that money but when you're just standing near the saw and the blade shoots into itself and you think "Oh great, there goes $60!" it kind of puts a damper on any project you're working on. Just get the regular saw and be careful as you should be with any power tool.

Don't like the price, still to much for what they are.
