Modegal Women's Satin High Waist Hidden Elasticized Waistband Flared Casual A Line Midi Skirt

Absolutely love this skirt! I purchased the Modegal satin midi skirt to wear on Christmas Eve with a “Merry and Bright” sweater I also bought on Amazon, and the outfit was a total hit. The color is beautiful, the fabric feels high quality, and the fit is so flattering. I love the high waist and how comfortable the hidden elastic waistband is. It flows perfectly and looks much more expensive than it is. Amazing quality for the price. I’m so happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again!

This skirt is beautiful. The fabric was soft and silky. It's thick enough not to be see through (because who wants visible panty lines.) The color is a rich red color. The cut of the skirt was very flattering, with a slight a-line. The elastic in the waist is very wide and sewn in so it can't flip around. I'm about 5'7" and the length fell below my knee for the perfect midi length. I'll wear this with a tshirt, denim jacket, and sneakers and then wear it with a red sweater when I want to dress it up.

Overall, this is a nice skirt but there are some inconsistencies. I wanted a dark green/evergreen/jade color skirt that fell a few inches below the knee. I saw a dark green that looked very dark and a slightly lighter “Irish green” so I ordered both with the intention of returning one I liked less. I ended up receiving two skirts that were the exact same color—however I did like the dark green color I received. If you are looking for a lighter Kelly shamrock green color, you might be disappointed. However, the two skirts were very different lengths. One was ideal, a few inches below the knee, and the other was just a few inches off the floor, much longer and much more formal, which I ended up returning. So the listing loses a star for inconsistencies. Buyer beware what you think you order might not be exactly what you get. Some notes on care. I almost didn’t buy this skirt to begin with because I saw the customer try-on photos with the severe creases in the fabric from trying on right out the the packaging, making it look cheap and thin. The fabric is a thick polyester elasatane that has more stretch than the satin-silk bias cut skirts you see, so it’s more forgiving on the body but it doesnt have the true satin shine. Added bonus, after wearing for an afternoon I am less worried about snagging this fabric than other bias cut skirts I’ve bought before. As for the creases, 10 min in the dryer on high fixed them all beautifully, and also helped reduce the static. The skirt will wrinkle again the back when you sit for prolonged periods though. The elastic waist is a smooth fold over design that really forgiving and comfortable. I ordered the XL and wear a size 12 jean.

Very good solid quality, not too thin or shiny. Arrived with some deep wrinkles, but easy to iron on polyester setting. Can be dressed up or down. No lining, but drapes nice and appropriately heavy. Waist band is wide and comfortable. I bought the suggested size, which was one size up and very happy with it.

So beautiful and comfortable at the same time. I loved it so much I ordered three other colors. Would look great paired with a Jean jacket for a more casual look. It looks great with boots. The price is amazing for the value. True to size. I’m in a Medium. The blouse I’m wearing is also an Amazon purchase.

Loved the colors, but when I tried on, it had these weird packers on the sides by the hips. No amount of ironing/steaming was going to help. Also, the hem was about 2in shorter in the back than the front. Pretty sheer material, and the waistband is just a piece of elastic that is uncovered. Returning due to quality issues.

It’s my new favorite skirt! You can dress it up or dress it down. So comfortable! I sit in an office all day and it did not wrinkle which is a huge plus! I am 5’4 and 133pds and I ordered a small. It fits perfectly. I ordered other skirts and they actually feel like a slip. This one is heavy enough, but it feels like a skirt and it falls so beautifully.

I really love this skirt. The material is smooth and comfortable, and the high waist fits very well. It looks nice dressed up or down and fits true to size.

This skirt is fantastic, looks very classy I recommend it, It’s one of my favorite skirts now.

I’ve ordered skirt in a leopard print a few years back and the material is a little thin but not see-through, so I was expecting a similar material for the black skirt. Surprisingly the material of the black skirt is much thicker and better quality. It looks much more expensive and fits like a glove (I’m 5’5 and about 120lbs, so ordered small). The length is good too, a bit on the long side but I folded it at the waist once, and it shortened it by a few inches so it reaches mid calf, exactly how I wanted it. Highly satisfied with the purchase and will most likely get another one in a different colour.
