Before ordering this supplement I did some research and was satisfied that they employ reasonable safety measures in production. That specific issue, I do not know. However, if you are concerned about that or other issues I recommend you go onto the company's web site to review all aspects of the company policies and safety measures.

I am also a member of consumerlab.com. Although there are alot of good information in their report, consumerlab did not test for contamination on this product because they stated that they only test products containing whole herb and/or at least 250 mg of minerals per daily serving. Anyways I encourage everyone to subscribe and support Consumerlab as it is our only source of validation since FDA does not regulate dietary supplements.

Started taking the product 2 days ago for shoulder tendinitis. How long does it usually take to realize the benefits.

Jack, I'm using it for my min-pin dog for cardiomegaly and congestive heart failure (which it's helped to reverse) but in my experience with him for the few times I've taken him off it, the effects don't start for about a month.  His chronic "CHF" cough starts to go away, as well as the labored breathing and tiredness.   I'm assuming thet any beneficial effects for humans (i.e. your tendonitis) will take about a month too, but several months before you can really see a difference.
