๐บ Ignite your gardenโs fall with a fiery surprise bloom!
The Heirloom Red Spider Lily (Lycoris Radiata) is a Texas-grown, drought-tolerant perennial bulb perfect for Southern climates. It produces striking coral-red flowers on 1-2 foot stalks each fall, emerging suddenly after late summer rains. Thriving in zones 7-10, these bulbs develop winter foliage that fuels their unique growth cycle, requiring 6+ hours of winter sun. Planting 10 bulbs now promises a multiplying, decades-long floral show that transforms your garden into a seasonal spectacle.

Good bulbs
Nice healthy bulbs. Only drawback is they look as if they had been harvested and packaged long before sold. Only half have came up. Not a complaint, but the bulbs that did not come up will lay dominant until next fall. Won't flower for 2 years. These are a winter foliage species therefore need a season(winter) with foliage and well rooted to bloom in a reasonable time frame.

Took TWO seasons to come up!
I initially gave this a 4-star because I planted them in August 2021... got very pretty blades (leaves) but no flowers. But today (~2 years later!) I noticed a funny thing poking out of the ground outside my window... turns out that ALL 10 bulbs are now flowing!! I thought they were dead, because all the foliage was dried up or gone, with this terribly hot summer we just had in Texas. And there are still no blades, just flowers! And they all came up literally on the same day. Hope they are beautiful once they open! Update - they opened 2 days later - beautiful!!

So far so good!
This is my first time ordering from Southern bulb co and Iโm super impressed with the quality of bulbs I received and they arrived early! They were all in great condition, no mold or soft spots, and a bunch of different sizes. Here on the gulf coast, spider lily season is just ending and the blooms are starting to wither. I put these bulbs in a couple of pots and in some sun. Iโm not expecting much growth for a while due to it being October but I have faith Iโll have some pretty blooms next hurricane season. :) these are the best bulbs Iโve ordered online and I 100% will be ordering from this seller again. Thereโs even a very informative QR code for a video for some tips and tricks for the bulbs I ordered and a printed letter of personal suggestions from the seller. I found it super helpful! I will come back to update with some photos if I get any growth this fall but I certainly will be back next year to upload a photo. 10/10

Itโs nice !
I ordered 1 pack of 10 bulbs of red lycoris flowers (Red spider Lily); The package was delivered to my house 3 days faster. The bulbs are still fresh, I proceed to plant immediately after. The in box have Includes instructions on how to grow and care for the this flower. It's very good for me to plant and care for these Lycoris. Hope they will sprout and bloom soon . I would also like to have more Lycoris in other colors.

Totally Forgot I Planted
I totally forgot I planted these until I saw this review. They never came up. It could be the soil or the fact that I forgot they were in the bed but there are other plants so they did get watered.

Order them now!
So excited planting my Red Spider Lilies now. Can't wait to see them bloom. Best price I've seen, and for 10 bulbs. Will be ordering more! Thank you for the growing instructions. Great quality.
