It works and serves the purpose. No extra protection like steel mesh hose cover etc but once fixed it dose the job. Very good to receive ARC. Fixed to my Onkyo AVR and after some settings in AVR it works like charm and is delivering 5.1

Great short optical cable
I needed a short optical cable as my samsung TV and my samsung soundbar are very close together and I didn't want to risk snapping the fibre optic trying to hide lots of extra cable. This is the exact length that I need and does the job perfectly. Sound quality is great and it feels relatively sturdy โ an absolute steal for a fiver

Provides a perfect optical connection
Perfect for the job, my previous fibre optic cable was to heavy so the weight of the cable pulled the two optic surfaces apart losing sound to my soundbar. This one is nice & light & fairly rigid to provide a solid optical fit. Sometimes smaller is better.
