Review: What I wanted. - I ordered these for my Lifetime Tahoma 10' kayak to upgrade it to a little fishing rig. They fit right behind the seat perfectly (after drilling the kayak with a hole saw) and plug up nice and flush looking. They weren't terribly expensive but the quality is there. They come with gaskets and screws, and I really love that you can close them when not in use. Review: Perfect! - Perfect! Use a 1 3/4" hole saw at a angle and it will fit perfectly! Easy to install.

Does a great job! Perfect for what it is. Looks like an original part for my fishing kayak. FYI, 2inch hole saw works perfectly for the installation.

Pretty cool. Easy to install.
My son got these for his birthday so he could turn his little kayak into a fishing kayak. I was informed that they work well and hold his fishing pole well but still would would like an actual fishing kayak as your body position is different in the fishing kayak and more comfortable and easier to maneuver your catches. I was impressed how easily they installed. You do have to drill a hole through your kayak.

Great product and addition
I was very surprised by the quality of the product and how easy they were to install. I was worried about not being able to access the inside of my kayak at the spots i was installing so I wasn’t going to be able to use the screws with nuts to attach them but instead had to use the all purpose screws. After installing I am happy at how tightly and secure they felt. Also bery happy that they came well built and included covers and does not leak at all. I used the included gasket as a template and cut it using my dremel tool, then ran a bead of clear Lexel silicone around the lip and installed the rod holder and tightened the screws with a screwdriver and not a screw gun or drill so I wouldn’t strip my pre drilled holes out. Everything tightened down perfectly and securely.They look as though they came with my kayak from the start.These were an excellent and very inexpensive upgrade to my kayak. Great product from this company!
