You’d never know these are cauliflower! I fooled my family! So much crunch and yummy taste!
Wow! Totally different to what I expected. I thought they’d be shaped like flat cauliflower slivers LOL. They are just baked and crispy like other chips and crisps. You’d not know at all these are made from cauliflower. I don’t even like cauliflower despite loving my vegetables! There is no hint of that taste. These are full of yummy flavour coating. Light crisped and very nice. If you put these in a bowl and didn’t tell your vegetable adverse kids or family these were cauliflower they’d love them and be shocked. My son and partner HATE cauliflower so I hid the front of the packet to get them to taste test. They loved them and didn’t believe what they were!Honestly. I can’t recommend these enough as a healthy alternative. Much nicer than I expected and I’d definitely get them again.

Light, crispy and flavoursome VEGAN CRISPS
Cauliflower crisps sounded healthy and innovative to me so I was really excited to receive these. They’re plant-based, vegan crisps made using wonky veg. Very attractive packaging design too...I have to ask, am I the only one who thought these were going to look like actual pieces of freeze dried cauliflower…? They actually just look like conventional reconstituted potato snacks I’ve tried before from other brands. They’re curly-shaped, light and airy in feel (which I like); the cheesy ones are a bit greasy but both are crispy and crunchy. The katsu ones have a lightly curried popadom type of flavour, a bit spicy but oddly they taste a bit like prawn cocktail Skips to me whereas the cheesy ones taste more like Quavers and Snaps (for those that remember Snaps, not sure if they make them anymore?) They’re not particularly filling but they do pretty much deliver on the promised flavours.Around 40% of the ingredients is cauliflower but it’s not discernible in the taste (or appearance). Both flavours are vegan so even the cauliflower cheese doesn’t actually contain any cheese or milk powder etc. Instead, the requisite cheesy flavour and creaminess comes from spices and other flavourings. The “Nudie” brand name does imply this is a healthy snack (along with the product description) but there’s a lot of potato ingredients in there along with corn flour and different sugars, starches and fats; none of it is balanced out with fibre and protein. Yes it’s a plant-based snack but they taste like other potato snacks and aren’t the healthiest… very similar nutritional macros to Quavers or a bag ready salted crisps. The packaging also makes it sound like something new and exciting, yet awesome-crisp-bag-design aside I personally don’t think they are that new and different. Perhaps if they brought out some sweet flavour combos next, or actually made the crisps using freeze dried cauliflower florets, that could be pretty exciting…Overall these are okay crisps and I'm very torn about whether to rate them 3 or 4 stars as they just feel a bit average to me and very comparable to other potato crisp products. They are vegan and gluten free though so these are big selling points; but really too pricey for what they are and they're made with lots of ingredients, quite processed and a bit high in fat. Having some cauliflower in there doesn't make them healthy... Personally, it’s not something I’ve had a huge craving for when I’ve been looking for something savoury; I prefer Bepps, Yushoi and Hippeas - made with lentils, chickpeas or peas - all a bit better nutritionally while still being packed with flavour. Healthiness aside, I do think they are crispy and enjoyable enough; you will probably like the cheesy cauliflower crisps if you like strong flavours and are looking for a dairy-free substitute for Quavers; the katsu crisps go well with a sandwich.

Great snacks
As a family we love the cauliflower snacks. Katsu curry and the Cheese and Caramelised Onion both great flavoursand tasty. Neither are too strong flavour wise. My children aged 8 and 5 love them for school packed lunches. I eat keto so if I fancy having a bit of carbs these are my go to as they are both under 13g of carbs and have the added benefit of being gluten free and suitable for vegans.

NOT healthy!!
This is highly processed, and it cauliflower as much as Pringles is potato, i.e. there is some of it in some mashed up ingredient base that was then dried and manipulated into something crunchy. If looking for somewhat healthy snacks - move on, this is not it!

Lovely snacks but watch the after taste burps!
I was excited to try these and I love a good vegetable crisp. These came in a very large box which was filled with the 16 packets of crisps, all loose may I add! So be prepared to store these in a tin.You get 8 of each of the flavours - katsu curry and cheese and caramelised onion.I dove right in when these arrived! The crips themselves are sort of like little poppadoms, round disks that are puffed up a little. The cauliflower taste isn't very obvious as the flavouring masks it quite well. The katsu curry flavour did remind me of katsu curry! They had a little warm kick to them that stayed on my tongue. The cheese and caramelised onion were a fancy version of your usual cheese and onion (which is usually hate!) but these were very pleasant. The main issues I had with these crisps were the burps I had after! I could only taste the cauliflower after which was quite unpleasant. Also the price is quite steep at £16.99 for 16 packets this is more than £1 for a small bag (about the same size as your usual pack of crisps) If these were around 50-60p a bag I would buy again as a treat as they were very nice and went very quickly!
