I like this dress. Its comfy, very stretchy, light enough to not be a suffocating layer but has enough weight to it to hang and twirl nicely. The beige colored one is a bit sheer - but not horribly so. You can see my friends snack bag if you lay it under one layer and stretch it tight, but the dress isnt usually stretched tight enough for it to be a problem. The ties on the neck/bust area are not stretchy and do not change anything - they are purely aesthetic. You can NOT cinch the neckline tighter with them. I ordered mine for a ren-faire style outfit. I paired it with a vest and skirt set both from Scarlet Darkness, and I think it looked good all together (will look even better with some wrinkle releaser lmao). All in all, I would recommend this dress, and would buy again if I needed to do so. I ordered a 2XL but could have EASILY ordered an XL and been just as well off. I am 5'5", I currently weigh in these photos 192.6 lbs. I wear a 38C bra size (on average), and carry a lot of my weight in my lower half, usually wearing a size 22-24 in jeans, and a size 16-18 in dresses. This dress fit extremely well, didnt cling anywhere uncomfortable, the arm holes were great and roomy (not loose or baggy, but not tight in any way). I usually size up in everything to err on the side of caution (you know how it is). But an XL would be a great fit here for me as well. The dress just brushed to top of my feet, and was comfortable everywhere else. If you are shorter that 5'5 you may need to hem this (either with stitching or with iron on hemming patches).

This is a lovely dress that is true to the online photos and size. I am 5’6 and weigh 182 pounds and I ordered a size large in this dress which is the size I normally wear in dresses, and it fits just like I expected and wanted it to fit. Per the care instructions this dress is 90 percent polyester and 10 percent polyester spandex and it’s recommended that it be hand washed, hung to dry, and can be ironed on a low heat setting. I didn’t iron the dress before taking the posted photos, so I’m sure it will look even better once it’s ironed. The dress has a nice breathable lightweight feel to it and a good amount of stretch in the waist, which makes it very easy to step into and out of when putting it on and taking it off. Thumbs up on this dress.

This is a fairly standard dress design, so in terms of quality I think the details matter. It's very comfortable and flattering and would suit a lot of people well, but there are a lot of small issues that were just a bit off when you look a bit closer. The fabric is very smooth and lightweight, so it's nice to touch and feels relatively breathable. It's a bit prone to wrinkles if that's a point of concern for you. The fabric is thin enough for nipples to poke through if you're not wearing a bra, but it's nice and opaque and no one's going to see anything they shouldn't. While you can pull the sleeves up to more of a cap sleeve if you want more of a square neckline and/or cover bra straps, it's a bit tight in the armpit if you do so. They fall more naturally into position approximating a boatneck neckline. The "drawstring" at the neckline isn't anything of the sort; it's just really long ties that don't serve to tighten or loosen the gathers, which are entirely elastic. The seams running along the elastic are messily finished and there are a lot of dangling threads. The ruffles along the neckline were trimmed with a serger rather than seamed, and the trailing cord running off the edge of the fabric wasn't trimmed or neatened in any way. The elastic ruching starts a bit higher in the chest than I would have preferred. I'm moderately endowed for my size and I find the elastic keeps creeping up almost to my nipple level. I imagine that would be even more of an issue for someone with a more generous chest size. I was also surprised to discover that the gathers running along each horizontal line of stitching on the skirt are all elasticized. It's a little weird stylistically, but not necessarily a bad thing. All told, most of the issues are minor ones, but there are enough of them to knock off a star or two in terms of quality control.

Lovely dress! I took a chance on the color, as I ordered it in Turmeric, so happy I did. The dress looks so good on, nice material, not thin. Feels nice, material not harsh on the body, soft actually. So easy to put on and to take off. I bought the small, fits beautifully.

I got this to wear to the renaissance festival and boy howdy did it fit the theme perfectly! It was perfect for the hot day that I ended up going on the first year. The second year it covered enough that even when it got cooler (late October) it was still a fantastic piece for the outfit! I have worn this (and washed this) a number of times already, to renn fair, to a hobbit party, to halloween parties, just for a cute casual summer dress and it has never disappointed. It was wash up super easy as well with a normal load of laundry. I've never hung this to dry, instead using the dryer. So long as you aren't beating the beejebus out of it, a normal wash should be fine. Even after all the wears, the abuse I've put it through, it is still holding up incredibly well. The elastic is all still there perfectly stretchy, the color remains fast, and it has all of it's strings still for cinching the bust.

Love this dress - perfect as a dress up or costume for Halloween! Material is not thin, but better quality than I expected. Stitching is good, and the dress feels nice to the touch.

I'm normally a 2x but sized up to a 3x because I wasn't sure. I think the 2x would have fit perfectly but I don't mind the oversized fit. Very good quality and exactly as pictured.
