The only other brand with warm grey, the brown micro brand, is the ONLY brand that always dries out or frays on me; Copic is consistently waterproof, Copic/alcohol proof, and the colour is always consistent and looks great. Oh, I use these for shading, and at times when I don't want the pen drawing under my paint to be so obvious. I do Ink and Wash Watercolors and usually use black. When I saw the warm grey I though it would be a great addition to my collection. The color is perfect, not blueish and not brownish but a perfect grey with a value around 5 on a greyscale. I would recommend these to anyone that enjoys pen and ink work or mixed media.
