I would not rely just on this guide alone to pass the exam; Get in the AWS console, take lots of practice exams, etc. and access some additional study guides. This book, like any text, covers some things more in depth that another exam will not.

Helped me pass the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam
I used this book as part of my study materials for the AWS exam, and it was helpful. Don't depend on just one study source, but use this along with other materials for best results. I passed the exam on the first sitting, and believe that this book helped to contribute to my success. This book was for exam version CLF-C01, retired in 9/23. The current exam version is CLF-C02, and I suspect a revised book will come out, so check book versions carefully.

I passed the CLF-C01 exam recently, and used this book. I found it to be clearly written, provides good examples, and covers many topics related to the exam. I will add that I have years of experience in IT, so basic concepts like relational databases, user access, and cloud topics aren't new to me, but I am a novice when it comes to using AWS. Like any exam I prep for I do not rely on one text as source to prepare. I generally read two to three books, and I generally read them through a couple times. I would not rely just on this guide alone to pass the exam; Get in the AWS console, take lots of practice exams, etc. and access some additional study guides. Not Even Close
This will NOT prepare you for the exam. The exam is EXTREMELY heavy on the "In's and Out's" of the platform. This book has good knowledge of Cloud with a peppered with AWS. This book does not give you the knowledge of actually working on the platform. Even the free account has limits. This skims over the different tiered pay options, but not enough. This also doesn't provide the intimate knowledge of what database is used for specific purposes.

Good Book -- Examples are out of date
Good book but the examples are way out of date. The console has changed a lot.

Not a comprehensive review of the needed topics
I bought this book because I was renewing my Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, and wanted a book to quickly refresh my memory of the topics. The book missed many key areas (e.g. AWS Well Architected Framework, spot instances, etc.) which I didn't realize until I was taking the exam. The book also had minor spelling mistakes. I did pass the exam, thankfully, but wouldn't recommend this book to someone coming into this certification exam with no background knowledge. The book covers a lot of the topics well, but misses a few key areas that could make or break someone passing the exam.

Logré mi certificación, pero complementando con otros recursos
En el mundo de la computación, el software evoluciona muy rápido, por lo que es obvio que algunos nombres de servicios, pantallas ya no estén al día con la plataforma AWS. Pero para leer e ir comprendiendo las bases está bien. Me servieron los tests que incluye tanto en libro como online. Tuve que complementarlo con 2 o 3 cursos/videos gratis de AWS, y logré mi certificación a la primera.

Non sufficiente per l'esame
Spiega molti concetti in maniera chiara ed esaustiva. Purtroppo però non copre tutti gli argomenti che si potrebbero trovare all'esame. Taglia qua e là, forse per snellire la lettura, solo che poi quelle cose ti mancano. Fortunatamente avevo altro materiale su cui studiare, altrimenti l'esame non l'avrei passato.
