This thing only records "to" an SD card or USB Memory stick. That being said, there is a slot on the right hand side where a cassette goes in and you can record from it onto the SD card or USB Memory stick. Then what I do is stick the SD card or Memory stick into my computer and "drag and drop" or "copy" the file onto my USB connected phone or my Kindle Fire where the rest of my music is. The files are MP3 which many music players on phones can read instead of the older CD audio or computer files phones can't read. It took me a couple tries to figure out how to record as there are so many options, but once you figure out how, it's simple and easy to use. **Q: How many stylus does it come with? Can replacements be ordered?** A: It comes with one needle. Extra needles can be ordered. **Q: Will this unit play a usb or sd card?** A: it will play both USB and SD card. **Q: can i adjust bass and treble** A: No..its all preadjusted.... also if you want I would add some speakers. It’s a great product. Customer service was exceptional. All my questions were answered before I bought it. It arrived quickly and I can’t get enough of it.The only thing that I would love to see changed is the remote control. Just as other reviewers mentioned.. it’s really useless because it doesn’t have an on/off button or volume control. Tape deck, CD player, radio. What I really like is the blue tooth function. The sound is n't great so adding the Bluetooth to my Bluetooth speaker corrects that problem.
