How does this compare to the original

It doesn’t. I’ve been wearing the original for over 20 years. I’d buy the brilliant white diamonds as a lighter alternative however the scent is not long lasting as in times past. It’s very light and airy but the smell fades similar to body mist. I don’t plan to repurchase again. I’ll either go back to the original or find a new fragrance altogether.

I didn't care for it at first, but after it's on you for a few minutes, it smells good!! It's a little strong at first, but eases off after the initial first spray.
