nuLOOM Iola Geometric Shag Area Rug, 7x9, White

This rug really stands out in our living room. It is so thick and soft but not over thick. It looks like a really expensive rug for a great price and value. Just love it. My dog thinks it is a huge bed. I can imagine it will be a challenge to keep white but for the price I do not mind.

Definitely one of the more inexpensive rugs available ($62 in April 2020). I am happy and pleased with this purchase. The rug was packaged nicely and after vacuuming, fluffed up nice and pretty. It’s not super soft, but given the low price, it’s still softer than expected. It has a weird, “new” smell but it’s not overpowering and I imagine it’ll dissipate quickly. It looks nice in our home. Good rug at a great price!

It looks pretty good n soft with not even a hint of smell when I opened it. Definitely white. At least the one I got. However it does not even remotely look right in my place. This is not a fault of the carpet. Also I always look at the weight of a rug n it helps me to understand better what I am getting. It was no where near the weight it claims to be and is very thin. For the right place with a pad under it it would be a winner at the price it is so budget minded folks it is a nice choice

I got this during a flash sale for $45. It looks like the photo in person and is nicely textured, not super shaggy but enough to notice visually and on your bare feet (see 3rd pic for fiber closeup). It didn't have a strong smell when received, however, I left the rug rolled up in a vacant apartment for about a week before opening it so maybe that's why I didn't notice. When unrolled, some of the fibers did fall off. Also, it was very wrinkly and the fibers were flat (which worried me at first). After walking on it the fibers became shaggy and looked more like the picture. It is only day one so can't tell you if or when the corners will lay flat.My only complaint...I wish I bought two when the bigger sizes were on sale!

I bought the 3 x 5 area rug for my living room and it is the perfect size, now I need to find the perfect coffee table. It arrived in a box, completely wrapped in plastic, and each end of the rug was protected. It was in perfect condition and despite being tightly rolled up, it’s already flattening out. It’s soft, but you can feel the looping of the yarn come through on your feet, but it’s not bad and overall pretty soft. It’s off white and grey colors and pattern are very pretty. Very happy with this purchase and the price.

I absolutely love this rug and how it helped pull everything together in my little guy’s nursery! I’ve had this rug for three years now and love that that it was able to go with his new “big boy” room we just finished decorating as well! It’s a great neutral rug with a pattern that helps add a little bit of fun to the space!As far as cleaning goes any shag rug is going to be a bit harder to clean because of the high pile but I didn’t find this one to be any more difficult than the other shag rugs I’ve owned!I love that this rug rolls out perfectly from delivery, lays flat and doesn’t slide/slip/move at all! I’ve purchased dozens of rugs from Amazon and the quality of the nuLOOM rugs can’t be matched!So, if you’re struggling to make a decision on which one of the thousands of gray and white, geometric print rugs to buy for your space let me make the decision easier for you…buy this one!

Quality is amazing and plush as well.

UPDATE: A few days after laying the rug in our living room I broke out in itchy skin all over my body. We hung the rug outside to hopefully off gas outside. I am not 100% sure this is what has caused my allergic skin reaction. We have brought the rug back in and it doesn’t smell near as bad but still has a chemical smell. If you have sensitive skin I would really consider NOT buying this rug. It’s a beautiful rug but the smell was so over powering. Who knows what all we inhaled when we first brought it in. It’s been 10 days since purchase. We have all the windows open and fans running to hopefully clear out any toxins in the air. We have purchased other Nuloom rugs that had a slight chemical smell but nothing to this extent.Just got this rug and my entire house smells like chemicals. My nose is even burning from the smell. I can’t believe how bad it smells. Never had a rug smell like this before. Will give it a day or two then will return if the smell doesn’t fade.

Absolutely love this rug! It comes up lovely when it has had time to flatten out and a good hoover :)Others have mentioned a chemical smell but I haven’t experienced this with mine. No issues at all and well made.

I have this rug as an area rug under my dining room table and the texture/pile of this rug does not interfere with functionality (moving chairs etc.) it looks beautiful and the quality is excellent. Really impressed with the look, quality and value.

Good value and very stylish. Thin shag, I wouldn't recommend it for a high traffic area. We put it under our bed, I hope it lasts. Came with a strong chemical smell (typical for carpet) and we aired it out in our garage for 5 days (7 would have been better). Overall, it looks stylish and was a great price for what you get.

Beautiful rug, I got it for a great price too. I ordered the 7 x 10 foot size and its actually closer to 8 x 10 feet which worked well for my living room. Looks just like the picture (maybe slightly less "plush" and more "yarn" like and its closer to off-white/cream than it is to white, but it looks great still. I was skeptical because of all of the "smell" comments but I find it has a normal "new rug chemical smell" but certainly not a musty or mouldy smell at all. Its great! Would recommend

Just got this rug a few days ago. Beautiful rug that rolled out with ease. I have gotten several compliments on this rug already and it really completes the room. Seems to be a good quality rug too, not cheap looking/feeling at all. Totally worth it!
