John Petrucci Signature Ultex Jazz III Pick 1.5MM - 24 Pack

Of course guitar picks are completely subjective to each player and the type of music and instrument they're using. With that being said, I am an 80s & 90s rock guitarist, and need a hard, fast pick. These are 1.5mm and are smaller than a standard pick. These also have a sharper tip than a standard pick. They have very good grip with the raised letters. They also do very well for pick scrapes. Because they are smaller than standard picks, hitting pinch harmonics is a breeze also. The control I have is absolutely amazing using these. Lastly , they are made of a plastic material that doesn't seem to wear out without being too aggressive on the strings either. If you haven't tried these, do yourself a favor and get the cheaper 6 pack and give em a shot. They are my go to pick now and I personally LOVE them.

I love these. I'm very picky with guitar picks. No that was not an intentional pun or a dad joke. I love the jazz IIIs and this is my new favorite. They make articulate picking very easy. The grip is good and the slick edges slide off the strings perfectly.

These are my favorite guitar picks, I don't want to use anything but them. They are extremely rigid and provide me great control and attack on the strings. Whether it's trying to play fast picking passages, or strumming chords, they work well for me. Lots of people like lighter thinner picks for chords, but I find the rigidity of these picks allow me to very accurately isolate single strings, or arpeggiate chords easily, without the pick flexing too much and touching strings I don't want to. They're just great rigid picks and I love them. If you want a rigid pick, you can't go wrong. I would buy these for years from guitar center, where they are $10 for a pack of six picks. And every guitar player knows how fast you can lose 6 picks. So 24 for $22 dollars is an amazing value.

I use these picks in the recording studio because the beveled edges allow for a really clean sound. Although relatively small, the surface grip helps it stay in place.

I can’t say enough good things about these. My new go to.

The only pick you’ll ever need. I’ve been a Jazz iii guy for almost 20 years. I’ve had all the variations of it, including XL, different widths, material's, etc. I discovered these JP picks quite a while ago now and they’ve been my go to pick. Good balance of precision, grip and feel.
