i was truly skeptical on how well could this be used to explain the concept to my 3yo. and it truly has exceeded expectations. story is simple - things fall because of gravity. mass causes gravity. gravity helps us slide. gravity is fun. the mass bit my kid couldn't grasp, but the concept of gravity in itself, he's kinda understood. the book is really beautifully illustrated - it has the sun and moon and earth which my kid loves to look at. big bold colors in bright kid friendly illustrations. we've been dropping things on the floor -which again my kid loves to do :) and it gives us a real world name / cause for a lot of things that happen every day around us. i'm going to go ahead and buy some of the others in this series - my try run with gravity has been amazingly fun! :)
