Otherwise I love these battery operated candles! They are perfect for holders that have color to them. I don't know how well they will look in a clear votive holder. I will say that these candles do have a bright white flame, not the cozy soft yellow that I tend to prefer, but if you like the brightness then these candles won't disappoint.
