Nice design, nice RGB, has crosshair option for FPS games (even though 'not a fan of this), very easy to use menu and menu button. It has refresh rate display if you want it. It also has HDR option. In my case, I got my XSX take it's max refresh rate @120hz. Even if it's only 2K, it's already an amazing gaming you will ever have. I can literally say you don't need a 4K. Unless you really have a buck to spend. I also like the chin design and it's all black color with matching RGB line at the back and the MSI logo. Great job MSI!!!

Musste auf die Lieferung ewig warten und ständig mit dem Support kommunizieren / Amazon dafür war kulant und hat sich alle Mühe gegeben DHL dazu zu bewegen mir den Monitor endlich auszuliefern, danke dafür!Ich will mich kurz halten:+ Farbwiedergabe ist Spitzenklasse (Merke aber dass die Kalibrierung richtung Bonbonfarben geht und rot dominiert)+ 165Hz werden erreicht und bieten eine flüssige Wiedergabe+ G-Sync funktioniert wie es soll (Vorsicht, erst ab GTX1050 verfügbar)+ Standfuß ist solide, in alle Richtungen dreh-/schwankbar und gibt keine Geräusche von sich+ OSD einfach zu bedienen und sehr intuitiv über Software zu steuern+ Monitor verfügt über 2 Knöpfe die sich programmieren lassen+ Rapid IPS sieht aus allen Blickwinkeln wunderbar aus+ Keine toten Pixel (Kann aber variieren)- Die RGB Beleuchtung hinten ist so schwach, dass sie als Ambientlight (selbst in kompletter Dunkelheit) ist viel zu schwach, bringt also nur etwas, wenn man von hinten auf den Monitor schaut (was wohl keiner machen wird, jenseits vom E-Sport).Fazit: Für den Preis mit diesen Merkmalen ein tolles Gesamtpaket, welches sich gelohnt hat! Kann diesen Monitor nur wärmstens empfehlen, sofern verfügbar!

This monitor had some issues at launch: images looks too over saturated out of the box. Yes it's kinda true, because it has a wide color gamut and it's not well calibrated as well as it has no option to clamp the color gamut.The fix from MSI:However, it's not the hardware that limits the quality of the image. MSI has launched a new firmware update for this monitor adding an sRGB mode as well as Adobe RGB and Display P3. So make sure you update the monitor FIRST before complaining. Thanks to MSI for listening to the customers.Color and (free) calibration:You also don't really need to calibrate much. Of course using a professional calibration tool, you'll get better results. But you can always use the free ICC profile from rtings.com and calibrate the white points with your eyes (mine was R90 G86 B92). Thanks to the wide color gamut and firmware update, this monitor is easily suitable for content creation as it does have a panel that has everything you need for professional content creation. Such as a high color gamut (99% Adobe RGB), 10 bit color and QHD.Gaming life better than real life:As for gaming, there's a small hardware limitation. This monitor is a 165 Hz QHD IPS monitor with 10 bit and with a QuantomDot layer. On QHD, you can only use 10 bit @ 120Hz. You can't use 10 bit @ 165Hz. If you want to get 165Hz, you have to enable 8 bit color first. Gaming performance is excellent, images are crisp and clear at 'fast' overdrive setting with no noticeable ghosting. It's not 1ms, but usually this is gimmicky as 1ms will bring you a really bad gaming experience. Colors are really nice and they pop out of the screen like it's better than real life. A monitor with QHD resolution is so much better than a FHD monitor, you can easily see every detail thanks to the high DPI. However, QHD will require your pc to run harder as it renders a higher quality image. I did notice slightly higher power draw.Verdict:This monitor, after updating and (free) calibrating, is perfect for everyone. Not a long time ago you needed 2 separate monitors: one for gaming and one for content creation. As there was not really a monitor that combines wide colors, high resolution and high refresh rate. This monitor has everything you need. A perfect monitor for content creation (QHD, QD, IPS, 10 bit, Adobe RGB) and a perfect monitor for gamers (QHD, 165Hz and some gaming features). Are you a gamer? You'll love this monitor. Are you a content creator (graphic designer or photo/video editor)? You'll love this monitor. Are you both? Well, this display looks better than your wife. The monitor is awesome. Large margin of brightness, light-fast response, very colourful.Quite decent options of settings. I most liked the icc profile from rtings.Good build quality - nothing creaks. Frame is as minimal as it can get.The matte surface works well.Quite heavy and bulky stand, takes a lot of space in width wise.Despite the fact that I received the monitor with one dead pixel (I got lucky - barely can see it, otherwise I would return it), I like the monitor a lot.For that price its the one of the best.
