I’ve put this Yousu Black TPU 95A through its paces, and it has quickly become one of my go-to flexible filaments. For a 95A durometer, it strikes the perfect balance between being elastic enough for functional, shock-absorbing parts, yet rigid enough to feed smoothly without constant jamming.​The black color has a fantastic, clean finish that looks incredibly professional on finished prints—perfect for stealthy, functional upgrades.​Print Experience & Performance:​- Ease of Use: On a direct-drive setup, this stuff is a breeze. It feeds consistently without buckling. Even on slightly more complex paths, it handles retraction surprisingly well for a flexible material.​- Surface Finish & Quality: The layer adhesion is phenomenal, making the final parts incredibly tough. Once dialed in, the black finish is clean with minimal stringing (just the usual minor wisps you expect with TPU, which clean up easily with a quick pass of a heat gun).​- Dimensional Accuracy: No issues with diameter fluctuations. Spooling was neat and didn't cause any tangles or tension issues during long, multi-hour prints.​Tips for Best Results:​Dry it first: Like almost all TPU, it benefits immensely from a few hours in a filament dryer before printing. If you notice popping or minor bubbling in the black finish, dry it out!​Speed & Temp: Keep it slow and steady. I found its sweet spot around 30–45 mm/s for flawless walls, though modern direct-drive setups can push it a bit faster if your temps are tuned.​Pros:​- Great bed adhesion (works beautifully on PEI sheets).​- Excellent structural strength, impact resistance, and a clean, deep black color.​- Very reasonable price point for the quality.​Cons:​- None so far. Just remember to store it in a dry box when you're done!​Bottom Line: Whether you’re printing functional gaskets, workshop bumpers, or custom protective gear, this black TPU looks professional and delivers great performance. As a long-time YOUSU user, this black TPU did not disappoint. It prints exceptionally well, featuring a deep, highly opaque black finish. I direct-fed it into my A1 from a dryer for multiple projects. The filament arrived tangle-free on a convenient cardboard spool, which is perfect for high-temp drying. By printing slowly at 220°C and keeping it dry, I got absolutely zero stringing. I was making some camera & gear protectors and they turned out amazing. Flexible enough for all my needs. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best TPUs I’ve tried, it doesn’t tangle, nor does it clog my P1S printer. The color is spot on and prints amazing on holographic build plates. It’s very durable and has been perfect for what I needed it for!

Expect a possible learning curve. I had filament adhering to itself issues. Final settings were 230 deg C hot end, 50 deg bed, 60mm/s, and no fan. No moisture issue after initial drying to 26%.

I have had no problems with the filament. The quality is excellent and prints very well. If you're having any problems with this filament, check your settings. Because the filament works great for me.

Love TPU for flexible prints, it is indestructible.
