HOW TO DO THE WORK

Absolutely loved this book! It gave me a whole new picture of how different our life can be if we change our perspective! It helped me heal some of my biggest traumas as well!

I helped a friend R buy it as he didn't have an ID.this review was given by him- A must read book for anyone who find themselves procastinating etc. I suggest first reading a few free articles or meme based discussion in Dr. nicole le pera's instagram page or website especially on topics of self betrayal amd decide if one needs help from this book. 2. this is also useful for parents who want to know which of their behaviour in unknowingly creating childhood trauma in their children. 3. book is well written. offers do-able advice. 4. shipping and delivery by Amazon is satisfactory. 5. book's quality is ok ok, nothing special.

This book was referred by a friend. Holistic psychology is a more wholesome approach to psychology and if you are really interested in understanding yourself, I would recommend this book any day

It’s her first book and it shows. It is a little hasty and disorganised but the content in it is good. It has insightful new information, some case histories and her own perspective on things which can be very relatable and helpful. When I read it, I felt heard after a long long time.

A very good read on self healing, good references are provided inside the book to read as well , I totally recommend

A journey of self awareness and connecting with inner Self. Few of us are engineered with learned habits and patterns which we continue to follow for so many reasons. If anyone wants to deep dive why their behaviour, thoughts, choices, beliefs are the way they are with a holistic approach in transforming should read this book. We all come across philosophies and mental resilience but How to Do the work by understanding Self is beautifully crafted in this book.

I am halfway through this book and I must say that this book is really helpful in identifying patterns in our thought processes, core beliefs and behaviour. There are examples of experiences that are normal yet can leave a mark on us as a child, which makes it really easy to relate to and is helpful for the majority of us. We need to start somewhere and this is that somewhere.

If you are someone who introspects a lot and want to understand childhood trauma and how to help yourself heal, you should read this book. Please remember, this book is not equal to going to therapy.

The value of this book depends a lot on who is reading it and what moment of their life they are in. I am happy that it helped me a lot. At some point it became a bit unnecessary. But then I gifted it to someone who I thought needed it. I don’t know if they will ever think it could be useful, I just hope they remember this book is around if they ever need it.

Eye-opening, heartwarming and sometimes very uncomfortable in a good way. A book to return to as you evolve. Loved it.

This is a beautifully written, and highly insightful book. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Not only does it contain a lot of really useful information about how to work with and work through past traumas, but there are numerous tools that can easily and quickly be put into practice. Dr Nicole Lepera speaks from her own experience and that shines through in her writing. Initially, I discovered Dr Lepera via the YouTube channel The Holistic Psychogist, and I was so impressed with what I saw and heard that I decided to order her book. It's a true balm for the soul and I'm certain many, many people will be hugely benefitted from reading it.

Realmente es un libro muy interesante y muy profesional que da consejos muy válidos. Además la autora menciona pocos libros, pero realmente son libros en mi opinión de lo mejor que hay en la materia.
