Need to clean the tiny holes on the top for it to work
This is the best purchase of my life. You need to clean the tiny holes every time you use it for there to be no leakage. The cup is white which is like asking for it to be stained. It will get stained, washing with cold water helps a lot. If you can't feel the tab to pull it out just flex a few times and it will come scooting right down. Before you remove it you need to release the suction by squeezing the button otherwise it might hurt to remove. If it does hurt to remove that is what is happening, you need to release the suction. Look up videos on how to insert and USE lube the first few times. Also, insert extremely slow with minimal pressure, it will naturally get sucked up but if you are pushing it in with force it will be uncomfortable and stressful. YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE.

I will never go back
Using a diva cup changed my life. No more chemicals, no more leaks, and no more dryness. Im not going to lie, you need to be comfortable with your anatomy, and ready for the learning curve. Things can get messy until you get the hang of things.I have an extremely heavy flow the first two days, so I empty it ever 2-4 hours those days. For the other 5 days I empty it every 12 hours approximately.Don't worry ladies, it's not going to get lost. It's fairly easy to use and comes with decent instructions.Do remeber: different ladies have different bodies. There are different sizes of this product out there. You may have to adjust to find what is right for you. Do the research to find what is best for you. You won't regret making the switch.

Customer for life
I have and will continue to repurchase diva cup. It's easy and comfortable and I've never had a leak. I grew up with EXTREMELY heavy flows and even super tampons at 4 hrs would leak, so it means a lot to me to have a product that actually works. This is my 3rd cup and I'll continue to repurchase.

Money saver!
I am so stoked that I switched to this as opposed to tampons! I’m saving so much money & I feel better about creating less waste! Very eco friendly, reusable & after the awkwardness of the first couple of times, it’s easy to use & simple to clean. I’m a fan!

Modern convenience!
I've had my original Diva cup about a year. What's very nice about it is that if you drink a lot of water and pee frequently, you no longer need to use a dozen tampons during the day just because you had to pee. In fact, this makes it so convenient for the day, it's almost like not having your period. Mine doesn't leak at all.A couple cons: the smell of collected blood at the end of the shift is horrid. I always get into the shower to remove and wash because it really grosses me out. The unit holds smell, so I generally will boil it in a vinegar water solution in the microwave until the smell goes away, usually 3-4heat:cool cycles. The other con is that my canal gets upset after a couple days of use, so I have to take a break before reinsertion. I bought a smaller size to hopefully remedy this issue.Against the competition: I bought a cheap set containing two different sizes. Unfortunately, it was a waste of money as they were too soft for me to insert. I never got to use either of them. Numerous tries and an upset lady, I defaulted back to tampons.Overall: The DivaCup is a convenient alternative to tampons. The $35 price point is far above the competition but since it actually allows you to use it, it's a worthwhile investment.

Easy to use and clean
So far I’ve tried the Diva and Saalt. I personally like Diva’s cup shape better. I like that it’s a little more narrow. I do have some regular leaking, but I’ve had that issue with both types of cups (This could just be a me problem). Diva cup is easy to use and clean. Durable. I pretty much forget it is there after a minute or two. Definitely comfortable to use for 12 hrs. With size 1, the cup is typically only full at the 12 hr mark on day 1&2 for me. I cannot speak for those with a super heavy flow, as mine is just a ~little bit~ on the heavier side of normal. I boil my cup before and after each use just to ease my own mind. Definitely use tongs or something similar with this process. The wash that it came with is a nice addition as well to keep it clean in between “boilings.” It is helpful when traveling. With that being said, I probably won’t buy the wash again/separately. Not sure it’s worth the price for me personally. Overall, still using the diva cup after several months of use.
