I am a Weber pro as I worked at their BBQ Park in Tokyo as a Grill Tender. The Smoky Joe is a little smaller than the ones I used there, but the portability is a huge plus as I host BBQ events at a public park in downtown Tokyo. It fits perfectly on a folding table I have which I use cable ties to secure the lets to in case of a bump or a quake. At the price I paid it was a great purchase. I also purchased the optional grill that opens up on each side, which I highly recommend getting as it is way easier to add charcoal / wood chunks, & a generic brand carry bag (which I wish Weber made).

着火がスムーズで、終了時も蓋を閉めるだけでとても手軽に楽しめます。 ステーキも少しスモークチップを入れて焼くと軽くスモークされて美味しかったです。

初のWeberですが、普通のバーベキューコンロと大体同じように使えました。本格的に使おうとすると、蓋をうまく作ってオーブン的な調理やスモーキーな香りがつくようにするのでしょうが、友人とBBQする際には、みんなBBQといえば日本のBBQの薄い肉の方が好きなようで、ほとんど普通の焼き方をしています。とはいえ、薄い肉に加えて、塊肉や厚いステーキをWeberの焼き方できちんと焼くと、場は盛り上がるうえに、味も美味しいので、日本流とアメリカンBBQの二刀流ができるコンロとして重宝しています。 一点、使いはじめのころ、蓋のかけ方がわからず、落としてしまいました（塗装がハゲてしまった！）。きちんとひっかけるようにできているので、説明書か動画か何かで確認して使われることをお勧めします。
