Needs less oil. I haven't burnt any food on it yet (used only a few times) but food slides out. I have seasoned it though, like for cast iron. No oil needed to toast bread/ make eggs. Also I wipe it clean with a soft cloth/tissue; Except when I made eggs, then I use very little soap and more water at room temp just so am sure there's no smelly eggie residue left behind.
