Flared shape is better at preventing leaks
The flared shape of these seem to prevent leaks better than Tampax Pearl. I have a light flow and never completely "bleed through" a tampon but with Tampax Pearl the blood seems to "go around" the tampon on one side and leak because it doesn't expand. These Playtex Sport don't do that.

Best deal I could find. The bottom part and the top part do come apart easy if you open the package wrong which can be frustrating if youre in a rush.
