Highly recommend
One of the best falafel mixes I have bought through the years and I have bought many brands.I would encourage chilling the batter because it was too wet for handling/shaping when I didn't.The cooked texture is excellent I have recommended others get these if they don't have access to freshly made falafel where they live.

Mediocre Falafel
This mix doesn’t even include parsley. The inside of falafel should be green and so deeply spiced it doesn’t need anything. This stuff is pretty bland.

Bland and Bad Texture
My regular brand was out of stock, so I tried this one, and it was not good. There's very little seasoning, and the worst part is the texture. I soaked the mixture the way the directions said, and the cooked product was almost crunchy. The next batch I soaked for twice as long as the directions said, and it still had that crunchy mouth feel when I cooked it up. I do not recommend this product.

This makes good falafel. I like to add some cilantro...and make (and re-warm) it in my air fryer.

Lovely color and easy to prepare....but
Lovely color and easy to prepare....but seasoning not to my liking. I prefer just a little heat and these are very bland. They are easy to prepare and hold together during frying. I did not try the air fry version, since I like lightly fried foods.I fried them in light corn oil and they looked perfect. But not enough seasoning for my taste. I could taste sage quite well but not the onion and pepper I prefer. If you are looking for light seasoned food and want to add flavor with sauces etc, then these are for you.

Good mix!
I’ve been on the hunt for a good falafel mix for several years as the major retailers don’t carry them anymore. The mix just required a cup of water and 2 hours of sitting before I could fry up some delicious falafel patties.

Tastes great
It takes a while need to let it stand for 2 hours, but that's okay. Yes it's totally high in sodium, but I need that going in and helps me to eat it in moderation. Great price, great product.
