I always order from this brand for my driftwood big and small. They always give me quality pieces that look nice and never send me poor quality wood. Very affordable compared to other brands and go well with most decor. Very easy, I always just soak in my tank water and then put it in.

Wow! I was so impressed when I opened the package. The size the look was as stated. I was very happy. I'm using mine for my air plants. NOT for reptiles. All the nooks and cranies will give a perfect look for air plants. Thank you

I bought these for a 10gal aquarium along with 2 other sizes this company sells so that I had options to create my perfect aquascape. I could have just gone with this one alone because I was able to create something perfect for me with the pieces they sent. They are beautiful! I boiled them for 4-5 hours to release the tannins first and my tank is crystal clear. Editing 04/02/2026 because I’ve ordered more and the pieces are incredible. I ordered the large count of one 13-17” (I believe) lol and then the medium sizes again as well for 55 gal I’m working on next. Stunning pieces. Pics may be hard to tell the difference for sizes referenced… the tank photos are my original setup in a 10 gal with my original review above. The measuring tape pics are of the biggest size of wood, and then the two groups of wood in the picture on my counter are the two packs of the medium sizes placed together with the large piece. I highly recommend ordering from this company.

My first set was not interesting at all. All horizontal pieces. I was able to return for another set. The second set have much more interesting dimensions. Very happy with the return policy and the replace items.

After some work it looks great in my tank. Pretty small pieces but I was able to attach them all to make a really nice piece for my 40-gallon tank.

Be careful buying these the length of them specially for the long ones can mean that there’s just one little tiny skinny branch sticking up 6 inches taller than the rest of it so they can get the heist that they are advertising. I know soak these in hot water when you buy them and that’s what I did. I soaked them for three hours in hot water and then rinsed. I added them to the aquarium. I have a 55 gallon two or three of them were floating. I had to hold them down with rocks. The larger ones had no trouble sinking into the bottom. The negative part as soon as I put them into the fish tank, got them all set up by the end of the evening a whole fish tank was a very dark brown even after soaking them in hot water for three hours this is very irritating as I’m writing this. I can’t see the date I bought them, but from then until now I have had to change the water every week and it went on for weeks. It is now fairly clear one or two more water changes and I change 50% of the water and it will be clear. I didn’t think to take a picture of when it was so dirty. I was a little irritated at that time.

Revising this post! Now 1 star and explanation at the bottom. Reason this only has 4 stars is because I'm worried about my tank and tannins still being released in cold and boiling water with this in it still. I have been going between boiling with and without salt since the 28th when I received the package and one piece still floats as well. I have follow their instructions to the letter and no change except for the other 2 actually sinking. Beautiful additions though it's just the wood still releasing tannins and not sinking. I'm happy and disappointed in the same token. It is now over a month later and I had soaked this wood for 9 day's following it's recommended treatment of boiling and cold soaking to remove the extremely harmful and deadly tannins. I'm extremely pissed off after the loss of a few hundred dollars in equipment and fish not to mention changing the water, at least a quarter to almost half, weekly trying to salvage my remaining 2 fish (sharks) and plants. I bought a piece of driftwood for Petco and it was ready for the tank in 2 day's releasing no more tannins and actually staying submerged without having to weight it down unlike this driftwood which still floats! I have gone through 3 different filters going from a small in water filter with just a sponge which was going to be all I needed for a shrimp tank and those little guys are expensive ranging from $8 to $20 a single one! Right up to activated charcoal (went from hanging on the side of the tank to canister) and still can't avoid having to do a water change. I doubt the seller could make right on the costly amount of damage this has caused and while that's only a assumption the only thing I can do is review this honestly and accurately. In the pictures the wood on the left is weighted down and is the product as well as the piece on the furthest to the right which is wedged in the bigger piece which is the petco brand. I have forgotten to snap pictures because I didn't think to when I was changing the water when it was bad bad just after lol I have spent way too long doing everything I can to make this product non lethal and no actual time enjoying it. I strongly advise avoiding this driftwood for anything aquatic. Reptiles I don't see a issue with including turtles and insects, other than that don't spend a dime on this product.

It SHOULD go without saying but please keep in mind the images are only a guide, and the actual pieces you'll get may not look the same as their pics. That said this was a fantastic buy. So much less expensive than pet stores are charging for similar pieces and sizes. The three we got were packed really well in bubble wrap and very snug, so they almost couldn't be damaged in shipping unless someone tried to do so, and also no risk of the wood leaving scraps in the package or scraping up other items if you order more than one thing at a time. The pieces we got were all on the larger size of the range and perfect since we didn't need to know exactly what they'd look like. There is an instruction card to boil them for fish tank use to keep them underwater and from floating. For reptile use to be on the safe side we usually bake wood pieces to ensure they're clean. If you do this keep in mind any lighter color pieces will usually darken a bit.

Definitely got what I Purchased. The smallest piece was a Skinny but Tall piece with a really cool "claw" on the bottom of the chunk of wood. 2nd biggest piece was a really nice twisted up piece of Mopani with a lot of "Texture" and Dense!!! The Largest Piece was Extremely Dense! Kind of awkward to work with but leaned up against something looks amazing. I purchased these for my Pleco's aiming to Create New Hideouts, for them to graze along the woods Biofilm. In all I am Very Pleased with this Purchase, Every piece is different so you never know what you will get, but the pieces I received serve perfectly for what I was trying to accomplish!

Excellent quality! This is nice Mopani and the size is great. Better than expected. I’m thrilled. I’ve used Mopani before in my black water tanks. Expect tannins. You will be happy with your pieces. Definitely ordering again.
