Bewegungssensor mit Fehlalarmen
Installation etwas friemelig, gute App, einwandfreier Upload in Dropbox. Der Sensor erkennt leider unseren Gardena Mäh-Roboter immer wieder als Menschen. Flutlicht ausreichend für einen 10 m tiefen Garten.

Amazing device, love it, but............
Update 21/01/2017Well thanks to Netatmo support for sorting out my issue. In particular Florian who is very professional and a huge help. I now know what it is like to have a perfectly functioning device that stays connected and is working brilliantly. No disconnections, all correct notifications and generally just awesome. My home feels much more secure. Thanks for standing by your products Netatmo. folks grab one, when they work they are superb. Back to 5 stars.Update 10/1/17Unfortunately this is now a one star product. Constantly disconnects losing the live stream. This means I lose notifications. It is only fixed by a restart. Unfortunately today I missed the neighbours mailbox being vandalised as the camera went down immediately after a restart and as I was not home to do it again it stayed disconnected all day. My welcome is wonderful but this camera is just an expensive wall ornament. Really unhappy. Netatmo just don't answer and when they do it is a week later and of no help at all. Too many faults like this in the forums for it to be anything but a bad fault or bug.Original reviewI ordered this from Amazon (wife account) and had it shipped to New Zealand via my in laws. It is available in Australia but not NZ yet. It arrived perfectly packaged and really quickly. I had been waiting a year for this camera and could not get my hands on it fast enough. I had an electrician in to run a 240 volt wire to the position on the wall I wanted it mounted. All my existing fittings hang from the eves and this must be mounted on a vertical wall. I watched the install video provided by Netatmo on you tube. I strongly suggest doing that as it is very clear and well made. The instructions in the box are pretty ordinary. I hardly referred to those.Anyway mounting it was pretty straight forward. Took about an hour. The only issue is I have a brick house and the bricks have a wave surface so getting it to mount of a reasonably flat bit took a little longer. The wiring can be a touch hard to get in behind the base as you twist it into place but all in all it's a clever way to mount with very little difficulty.I then powered it on (took a few moments to power up which had me with my heart in my mouth briefly as I expected an immediate start). From there I just ensured I was connected to the network AP I wanted the camera to connect to and followed the app. I later set up dropbox and FTP to mirror the settings in my Netatmo Welcome camera. Incredibly easy and it was filming me in seconds. The next step was to set up the alert zones using the four available. Pretty easy and efficient however they can only be rectangular or square (regular shapes) and don't go down as small as I'd like to focus on say just the mailbox in one zone. Not really a big deal though. I have found that I had to keep windows that were inside alert zones and reflected car lights at night out of the zone or it would register a car. My zones extend down the driveway to just short of the footpath. I have to say that it performs flawlessly in terms of identifying cars, humans and animals. our two cats are being picked up everytime without fail. It has been interesting to see where they sneak off to at night. The floodlight comes on for cars and humans but I leave it off with animals. The picture is arguably better with it off at night but I like it to make anyone walking on the property think twice as they get flooded in light, hence it is on for anything not an animal. The footage on the live feed is crisp and clear but sometimes as it starts to buffer or begin playing it can get very pixelated. The FTP transfers and those on the SD card and dropbox are super super clear though. Amazing quality. Its an outstanding device and I would buy one again. I find myself sitting watching the live feed far too often. There is one MAJOY issue though that has to be worked out and soon. It is even answered in the help section of the Netatmo website which seems odd. Just fix it Netatmo. That issue is that twice a day, without fail, normally as we go from dawn to daylight or daylight to dusk the live feed gets stuck. It either just goes black or freezes on the last image updated. Huge issue! I can't change settings or flick the floodlight on or anything in an attempt get it back online. The only I can do is view the captured videos in the timeline. Obviously if it does this while I am away at work or on holiday and I am not at home to switch it off at its power source and then back on again it is a complete waste of space. I have a work around to fix while I am away in that today I installed a Wemo light switch that I can turn on and off remotely. That allows me to reboot the Presence when at work etc. When in this state it doesn't even register movement, of anything!. Basically when I get up in the morning and before dusk I have to "fix it" and power it off then back on. The onetime in the four days it has been going that it didn't fail going into night (first day) the IR LED's failed to come on. Hmmmm.I have complete faith that Netatmo will fix this so therefore still love the Presence and would recommend it to anyone. I have the Welcome and it's been superb and I will get a Home Coach as soon as I can. But be aware, the camera does have this quite bad issue.....for now.I will update the review once Netatmo fix this issue. Just FYI, I have high speed broadband, really strong wifi (there presence runs off an extender that is full strength signal in and out which I installed just to make sure the Camera had the best signal). I know NZ is a long way away from any servers Netatmo run but the Welcome runs perfectly and is sold here, as is the Presence is Aussie. Basically it isa camera issue, not my setup. Netatmo Forums document it as well. Still love it though :)Thanks Lance M

Great camera, only few additional costs!
I've had 2 of these cameras, front and rear of house, for 2 and a half years, they are very solid, and heavy. I've had a few of issues/frustrations in that time but would re-purchase if they went kaput completely, even with my 4* review, as I'll discuss. Frustrations have mainly been due to wifi - not the fault of the cameras. Aside from wifi, the problem I had with my front camera (it stopped recording) turned out to be the memory card giving up. This took a little while to work out - turning on off on off etc, troubleshooting over the net. The card was 8GB when I removed it (easily done) - it had become defective due to use. I live on a busy street. I bought a 32GB card, applied the recommended super lube (tracked down in the states) and refitted, it worked again immediately.I think I'm on to my 3rd 32GB card for this busy camera - I don't find that an issue - it's still cheaper than being bound to a monthly cost. I don't need to link with Dropbox (free version) to store video like I did initially. The 32GB card easily stores a week's worth of video for me to scroll through on the App. I deleted Dropbox. This front camera is reliable due to a strong my wifi signal, and beside the main router. I have captured all sorts outside, video of my car being ransacked, my security light making someone think twice from trying my car door handle, someone taking a pee at my front door (unbelievable I know), these incidents being at night and difficult to identify people due to the hoody uniforms and grainy picture quality - you only really get an idea of what is going on with the night vision, a policeman told me you would need to spend £1000s to get decent night vision. I'm sure some night video content is not captured, and sometimes there is lag, so a video does not fully capture a person's journey in/out of shot. To be fair, these are instances outside of my garden, but has been frustrating at times, e.g. camera might capture someone get out of a car on the street, but does not capture them later when leaving. In daylight I captured someone pinching a child car seat that I'd left at my front door to dry in the sun after washing. I took a screenshot of the person (great daytime quality when people are close to camera) and went door-to-door with a pic to find the person as the police were not helpful. I found the culprit and got my seat back.My rear camera is hit and miss due to my wifi. I installed additional boosters for wifi but these are still hit and miss at the rear of my property. I do have spells of wondering what I'm missing, sometimes I'll get motion updates, sometimes not. Most frustrating when I have walked in front of the camera and there is nothing captured, or a week without an update. This is not the fault of the camera - I have Virgin Broadband for info, 2x boosters are Belkin. I have had to re-scan the system's barcode for this camera the most to re-link it to the internet, not ideal going up a ladder. I still use the 8GB memory card in this camera, I have had zero problems with that card - although it is not kept too busy, even when things appear to be fully working. Most frustrating with this rear camera and the wifi problem is that my live stream is generally most likely not working - my front camera is however very reliable for live streaming. I have noticed the rear camera functions better when the kids are not using Netflix etc. So ultimately the camera can't be blamed for another providers hit and miss wifi signals!Camera install is easy, I don't do anything electrical, can't change a plug for instance, yet installing the cameras was easy - I just followed the YouTube video, I am a confident DIYer though. I already have other fllodlights so I keep the floodlight feature turned off on my cameras so can't comment on that. The sound feature is good - my driveway is 12 metres and you can just make out bits of conversation if cars are not driving past at the same time, in the immediate area of the camera the sound is perfect, and has been very useful. The App is great, I have the cameras set to pick up people, rather than cars/animals/motion, just to save video space. I find myself scrolling through the App across the day, easy to use, and this has improved over time also with updates. Best of all there are no monthly fees, I'd purchase again.

Stopped working after 5 years
I love this product so much so that I bought another one for my in-laws. However after 5 years of working perfectly, it has suddenly stopped working - the light remains on constantly. Nothing will reset it - changed SD card everything. Contacted their support desk who eventually responded after 1 month who informed me that it was now broken. Googled this and it looks like a common problem. Now not sure whether I want to spend £200 on another one however TBF I have had 5 years use out of it.

Over-priced and outdated
I got ordered this cam on a Black Friday Week Deal, so I got a good discount off the listing price. The camera was to replace an old one connected to a DVR and I wanted a quick and easy installation. The camera arrived on Friday (earlier than expected), so I installed it today (Saturday). The hardware and build quality appears to be good and it feels sturdy. It is bigger than I thought it would be, which is good, because it should act as a deterrent. The electrical and mechanical installation was easy to do. I did need to tap into an AC power supply, as the old camera was powered via the DVR. Thankfully I had an AC junction box on the other side of the wall which I could use. The camera can be tilted up/down and left/right, but the bolts should be loose until you have the camera active to allow final adjustment before tightening the 3 bolts. The connectivity and software is what really lets this camera down. I spent a half hour with the initial phone setup. After downloading the APP, you are guided through the setup. I skipped the homekit part, as I don't use the Apple homekit. The APP setup is not straight forward and is frustratingly slow and confusing.Connecting to Alexa was a bizarre experience. As is usual, you need to add a new skill, but the Netatmo skill connection almost stopped me in my tracks. WHen asked to login on my phone, the keyboard would not display for the email address, or password. When long pressing the screen, there is a camera option. The camera happened to be pointing at the Netatmo box and was picking up some text, so I had a lightbulb moment. I typed my email and password on the computer and used the phone camera to read them. I could then sign in and connect the accounts. So, how does it work on Alexa? I have a Show8 device and asked Alexa to view the camera. It worked! However, the delay from real life to screen is about 7 or 8 seconds and the WiFi is strong with the modem/router only being 8 or less meters from the camera. My EV car charger is a little further and that shows a string signal, so WiFi is not the problem. I checked the Natetmo APP and the delay is similar. I then tried with the Alexa APP on my phone and the voice response told me that the device is not supported on my phone (iPhone 14 Pro).Recordings are typically around 90 seconds and can be easily downloaded to your phone for safe keeping. The image quality is actually worse than the hardwired system I installed 14 years ago. I got a DVR, 2 external and 2 internal cams for similar money to the Netatmo cam. It's not bad, but I expected a lot better. Vehicle registration plates cannot be determined outside of 12 meter range (not important for me). I have not seen the night quality, but I would expect it to be reasonable with the floodlight activated and less good in IR mode. I will update this review if my expectations don't match reality. The microphone picks up everything. It's not well calibrated and the background noise is constant.Final thought: If I hadn't gone through the trouble of installing this, I would be returning it. However, it does serve the primary need as a deterrent and can record events which will serve me for the time being.Edit:The sound stopped working after a day. I tried a hard reset of everything and it did not work. Netatmo customer care responded to my query with a generic "how to". Amazon sent a replacement product which I installed today. Sound is working.
