It will hold a small bible not a large bible or book. It was about 9 inches across when open and 8 inches in length. Very nice book holder.

So some aay this stand is small , so what is the biggest size bible will it hold?

Certainly it will hold an average-sized Bible. The one I have on this stand is about 7 inches by 9 inches and it works well. Another Bible I have that is the size of writing paper (81/2 x 11) is too large for this stand.
