Great little machine for the money
It was easy to assemble and square up the table with the blade. I cut a piece of wood to check everything out and was surprised that it cut at 90 degrees on the first attempt. I make candle holders and like to insert colored pieces of acrylic on the inside. My laser cuts extremely accurately and I was depending on this saw to cut the acrylic to fit, and the pieces had to be exact. Not only did the saw cut cleanly, but there was no problem in straight cuts, no wandering, and no variation in the cut. I did hook up a shop vac and attached a magnetic light, however. Changing the blade was fairly easy and only took me a few minutes. All in all, I would definitely recommend this saw to anyone looking for a small, quiet, and excellent band saw.

Woodskil 3-Amp 9-Inch Band Saw, 2500FPM Benchtop Bandsaw
The media could not be loaded. Great bandsaw for the price! Adjustments didn't take too long it cuts pretty clean and straight.Cuts all my hard wood with no problem just have to go a bit slow with it. Everything is about 1/32 to 1/16 off so not to terrible. When I ripped douglas fir It was pretty bad and got about an 1/8 off not sure what that was about.. must of been the wood grain pulling the blade to one side. It's a good bandsaw and will get the job done if you are getting into wood working or need to do bandsaw projects.

basic, but useful bandsaw. You will need time to adjust the machine for narrow blade depths.
Nicely made band saw, not much different than the cheaper models. I dislike the ball race blade guides because they offer little to dampen blade vibration. These band saws can require around an hour of setup time if you need them for precision work. Good-quality blades are difficult to find online, especially those with 14 teeth per inch. The bottom wheel on the saw requires alignment to ensure the thin blades remain centered on the crown of both the upper and lower wheels. This can be done by slowly adjusting four bolts that hold the wheel shaft in its correct orientation. With a little persistence and some time, everything can be made to run correctly—good value for money and slightly better than the cheaper clones of this model.

Accuracy and quality of cut.
I've been doing wood working for 58 years, I even taught in in high school. I've had several shops along the way loaded with expensive machine tools. I recently moved and sold most everything, when I saw the Woodskil 9" machine for not much money I was skeptical, so I read the specifacations and the reviews and decided to purchase one. It went together easy, was simple to adjust and has many features other band saws don't. The cut is as accurate as you wish to make it. Both the miter gauge and rip fence worked well. It seems the Woodskil 9 " is everything it was advertised to be.

Good piece of equipment
This thing works great for it's small size. Easy to assemble and cuts very well.

Excellent little bandsaw
This is an outstanding little bandsaw for the price. I've been using it to fabricate parts for physics demonstrations. I was a manufacturer of high end custom furniture many years ago, so I know my tools, equipment, and jigs. The motor is quite and soild which keeps vibration down. I also own a very large bandsaw for re-sawing lumber but it's requires 220 so it's over kill for little parts. The blade guide is an excellent feature and design. My only criticism has to do with the table and square guide slot. It's a non standard slot requiring a custom part for additional sliding table guides. I just picked up some aluminum strips to fabricate my own.Overall and in general, I can recommend this as a very worthwhile peice of equipment. I can recommend it for folks that don't have a lot of space and want to save a lot of money. If you haven't used bandsaws before study online before you buy one. Know your tools and equipment and keep your fingers!!!

Support non-existent
The 2 year warranty is irrelevant if there is no support. After about 10 minutes of usage the motor locked up and just gave off a hum sound. I was outside the 30 day return window. Things break and so that’s not the issue. The issue is the support that stands behind the warranty and it is here’s that I learned a valuable lesson: if a company does not have a phone number for support or customer service and only offers e-mail or website communication, then the chances are extremely high that they are not serious about providing quality (or maybe not any) support. It was is a easy to find link for support that provided a form to complete. I filled out this form and submitted it many times over a 45 day period. Amazon customer service went way out of their way to attempt to contact the seller on several occasions… with no response from any of these attempts. Thankfully this was not an expensive unit, but it still hurts to be ignored. Note: I am always impressed that Amazon is happy and willing to do so much to suport the customer, so I need to do my part and do better due diligence on purchases. Going forward I will take an extra step in the purchasing process to research and do the due diligence to make certain their is a way to contact support outside of a website or e-mail only communications.

Good small woodshop bandsaw
The color is great! Bright yellow! The top and bottom yellow doors are metal, not plastic. The table is aluminum and comes with a small miter gauge and even a rip fence. The stock blade is thin and wanders some but you can change it out for a 3/8" blade to stabilize your cuts. Go slow and let the saw work. Good saw for smaller woodworking projects.
