Great box cutter!
Love this box cutter. It has the right weight and ergonomics for what youd expect. It slides open and close easily and stays in the desired position . I'd say it's the safest box cutter I ever owned. The belt clip is nice. I pair it with black oxidized blades, but it comes with high-quality blades as well. I'd buy this again if I lost it--- which I did.

The best $8 you will spend in the next 10 years
If i could give this product 10 stars, I would. I manage a convenience store and i use my Turbo Knife at least 50x per day. I bought one several years ago because a store had them on sale for dirt cheap so I figured, ah what the heck? This is my 4th Turbo knife, second that I have purchased. I lost my last one a couple weeks ago and have felt naked ever since. I have tried several different types of utility knives and NOT A SINGLE ONE can compare. If i need to open a box, I can whip out my TK that I have clipped inside my pocket and slide out the knife in one fluid motion. One slide puts it back. I have been mourning it's loss ever since I lost it. It was my good little buddy. Always there and always reliable. Before leaving for work, I always check for phone, wallet, keys, Turbo. There are a lot of people complaining on here about how they fall apart, etc. Yes, I have had that problem. My last one randomly lost screws. Obviously the folks didn't read the package before whining on here about it. THEY ARE GUARANTEED FOR LIFE. Remember how I said I have had 4 and bought 2? My first one had the screw that sandwiched the blade disappear. I emailed Olympia Tools, sent a pic and I had a new one in a couple days WITH FREE SHIPPING. the second one had the screws that hold the frame together fall out. I sent a picture with my shipping address- they apologized and promptly sent a replacement. They also advised me to periodically tighten the screws (it uses a T9 torx) I bought a little "Electronics Repair Kit" for $4 at Harbor Freight that has the right size Torx bit for the TK. So every month, I do my TK maintenance- change the blade (by now I've used both sides), wipe the blade slide down, apply ONE drop of 3-in-1 and tighten all the screws and it has never failed me. It is refreshing to see a company stand behind their product 200% and to have a product so good that it disrupts someone's everyday function when you don't have it. Believe me when I say, BUY THIS FREAKIN' KNIFE.

Not as good as what it used to be.
Very disappointed in Olympia. I bought the exact same knife over 10 years ago and the slider finally broke. I was excited to find it online again only to be surprised when it got here and the body is made of plastic now. It's about 3/16 of an inch wider which is a lot for a knife that sits in your pocket. Not to mention the slider looks flimsy as hell and you have to actually push it to the side before you can slide it which is super annoying. The clip is also made of thinner gauge metal and bends easily. Very disappointed with the changes they made but its still a good knife.

One Great Pocket knife!
I had one of these box cutters way before when i was still working as a delivery route driver back in South San Francisco a couple of years earlier. This is a fantastic knife but my issue with this is you have to put extreme caution when putting this knife in your pant's back pocket for it has the ability that the blade would just pop out and slice your ass literally! I ordered another one and to my surprise, this one actually is a better one that the first ones i ordered. It has a double locking mechanism both on open or closed position & there's only one way to open the blade and close it & keep it locked from preventing it from slipping. These new designed ones are a TON better than the first ones that came out a couple of years back.I use my mine for cutting boxes out from my Dialysis delivery boxes and this knife is way lighter than the first issued.I highly recommend this product due to it's new designed double-lock mechanism for better safety control. And on top of this, this knife came with extra blades + it's really easy to chamge the blades w/o using any external tools. Best utility knife for the price!!!
