PEMP E60 Aux Activator Adapter Open the Aux Audio of the Original Car for BMW E60 E61 E63 E64 CCC 2003-2010 (Note the Step 4)

I bought new Android 11 screen for our 2006 BMW 650 Convertible. The car did have CD,WB, SAT and I pod input, but was missing the AUX, needed for the new screen installation. I purchased the AUX Audio, together with the unit from 4x4 shop in Canada. Installing the unit, I had to do the AUX activation. It showed up in the old screen and I lost it when I installed the new unit. Found out, that the steps described by the 4x4 shop, was not addressing the necessary steps. Also good to know, when installing it once, the AUX activator does not work anymore. Unfortunately, I go not response from 4x4 and decided to purchase the activator from PEMP. The instructions are detailed. I followed every step and the unit works perfectly. Don't do any shortcuts, follow the instructions and you are fine. BTW, this part was $35 cheaper then the initial purchase.

This thing is the best I've bought in a while. Don't always write reviews but I had to. If you have a 05 bmw e60 and want to upgrade to an android player and don't have AUX don't hesitate, get the pemp. This thing works well just follow instructions and you'll be fine.

This worked great for my 05 535. I could not get aftermarket aux coded I tried and tried. This did it one try now it works flawlessly 1

Works great. Easy install. I followed the instructions from the videos and worked perfect. The paper it i cludes says to unplug battery and video doesnt include that step so i didnt do it and it still functions as normal. Plug it in, wait for red light, lock car afterwards for 10-15 min and come back. Exact same steps i did and worked

Extremely easy to install. Solved all my issues. Ordered aftermarket stereo. This fixed my problem!!

Well this did not go well, Amazon were not helpful and seller also stated it's nothing to do with the product, whereas it was, it got activated successfully and installed by a professional who confirmed correct procedure was followed, there is sound coming but very low, all wires were correctly installed and tried on all sort of phones, portable cd players ans mp3 players, all have the same result. Seller was not helpful at all and amazon help desk were wanting to get rid of me all the time, agents kept on changing. Final verdict it's not worth buying this product and would not recommend this to anyone.

On my 2006 E60 M5 install was easy enough, but needed follow-up coding to fully activate - read on for some tips. I followed the install instructions/video to the letter, but AUX input briefly activated on screen then disappeared after power off/on. Using "BimmerCode" iPhone app and OBD adapter (OBDLink MX+), I was able to permanently activate AUX on my 2006 E60 M5 via the following steps: (1) place OBD adapter in car OBD port; (2) connect OBD adapter to phone via bluetooth; (3) launch BimmerCode app; (4) select "Head Unit"; (5) select "Expert Mode" (don't worry!); (6) click into "3010 CCC_ECUS" folder; (7) click into "AUX_CONFIG"; (8) change check mark from "not_mounted" to "mounted"; (9) reverse out of menus to top, then click 'Code'; (10) voila! AUX is now permanently activated!

Working like a charme! I recommend to anyone who has needed active aux.

the product is well designed and it works well I have a 2006 bmw 530d e60, i installed aftermarket head unit with car play functions. but it was initially no sound. after i used this kit to enable aux function, now it has sound and incredibly nice
