Once you get the hang of it ... Works like a champ
This item works well. I started by using a rebel t7 camera. It's a little heavy so the arm sagged when fully extended and shook when I hit the button to take the picture. All my issues not the product. Once I figured out no to over extend the arm and to use a remote for the camera, it worked great. I then replaced the camera and installed a webcam. The cam is attached to my computer and it was easier to take pictures through the camera. Pictures were uploaded immediately for use in PowerPoint. Overall, a good product

Pro or not you need this!!
Very sturdy! Clamp is really strong! You can get some crazy angles with this! The design is very simple and itโs very straightforward. Tested it out with my iPhone 17 Pro Max! Of course it works just fine. I was able to move a wide variable of heights. And the arm swings out very far and can articulate in many directions! The pole is very long to enable you to install other accessories that you may need whether itโs a light or a microphone or maybe a second camera or maybe a WebCam. This thing can definitely handle it all. I do plan on using my Nikon ZR on this! And it will definitely be able to hold it! And if it doesnโt, I will come back and update the review!

Lots of Points of Attachment
I used this as a desk mount for my camera, laptop, and a key light for streaming. Personally I love how much accessibility you gain from this however I have to admit that the arms that extend out cannot handle a lot of weight. Just my legato key light has proven to be a little on the heavier side providing a slight lean. The laptop arm ive had to keep bent towards the center post to keep from bending but the desk clamp is extremely sturdy and well built. I will also adds that the 1/4in screws that came with the mounts on the arm were all the right length except for one but I believe that was just am unfortunate mistake and thankfully I had a screw laying around to replace it. I would purchase this again but I would be prepared to know it might lean a bit.

Surprised at how good it was.
I've been looking for a good and reasonably priced top-down camera arm for a few years now. This one finally came up in my searches and I bought it. It's well-made, easy to put together and easy to use. I used to take some photos of various objects on my desk and it was a stable platform for that. The arm didn't move unnecessarily, so it was easy to take photos that were reliably consistent, even across multiple products. If you're looking for a good solution for taking flat top-down photos, or even ones at a consistent angle, this is a really good option. Paired with one of the iPhone clamps/holders, it's great for taking advantage of your iPhone's cameras to take good photos. I'd absolutely buy it again.

Superb Stand for Video Conferencing and Still Photography
This is one of those rare, simple things that is immediately satisfying because of its materials, design, and build quality. I use it to position my webcam over the top of my monitor array and to support an auxiliary light. It is sturdy and well-crafted. The machined parts are nicely finished. Delightfully uncomplicated - no instructions included or required. A great choice for folks who work from home and appreciate the elegance of simple quality.

Good mount but needs more washers
This mount is great but the individual arms come in contact with each other when one swings past the other making a "clack" sound. To fix this I added an additional Nylon flat washer at each joint. This gives more clearance. Otherwise a good mount. I decided to make two 1/4" holes in the base and mount the base directly to the wall where my photography bench is. Then at the top of the post I mounted an L shaped bracket and screwed the bracket to wall. Thus the post is supported at the bottom and the top. It all worked great. I use this with a Neewer LED Light Stick ( 17" long ) and other photo lights for my work UPDATE: I bought a second ULANZI mount. Now I have one for the left side of the photo bench and one on the right side. Both have a NEEWER LED Light Stick mounted on them. This gives me so much flexibility on lighting setups. :)

Returning this mount - too wobbly
I set this up on my primary desk, which is about 2" thick and stable. With my Sony ZV-E10, the arms wobble and sag no matter what configuration I try.

Fit and Finish great for rod and arms, the ball swivel is terrible
I'm using this to support a Sony A7C with 35mm GM prime lens so not a lot of weight. I'm extending it outwards using 2ea arms and am not using one of the arms. The arms are attached at the center of the pole and the pole leans about 1 degree so not too bad of a lean, though noticeable if trying to see if the vertical rod is plumb. The ball swivel mount this product comes with is worthless. The ball came oily and no matter how hard you tighten it, it can't hold the camera, or even a small LED light that well. The swivel succumbs to gravity and anything that has weight will slowly lean until it leans over completely. I suppose degreasing and roughing up the metal ball might help, i've also heard kitty litter to add some "grit" to the ball might fix this but I didn't bother because I don't like the tightening knob at all. I ended up swapping out the ball swivel for another one by another import brand and it works like a charm. I would highly recommend purchasing the arm with another heavier duty swivel mount than the one that this comes with. In addition, consider getting the one with the 2nd arm if you want to "counter balance" the pole so that it doesn't lean to one side. Overall, the aluminum arms and hardware are good quality, and the matte coating is nice but can get fingerprints though I have no issues with the craftsmanship. I like the swivel arms, pole and hardware that attaches to the desk. It does feel like it is designed to be set in one position and does not like frequent adjustments. I would score this higher if I felt like I got my money's worth and that I didn't think there were some improvements to be made.

Ideal bit of photographic kit for me.
It is sufficiently robust to handle a DSLR. Solidly made and well designed. Easily multiple directional, and the camera position can be moved with ease. This eliminates the need for a tripod in my tiny studio. Trying to work around a tripod in a small space is limiting, physically exhausting and a huge time waster. I wish I had had one of these years ago.
